I visited the Inside Passage in Seattle, WA on Sunday, 6/9/24, around 5 PM. Initially, I did not make a reservation in advance. However, the hostess did have seating available. What stood out to me about this tiki bar was the amazing decor. As far as the drink, I decided to order the Dinglehopper. The presentation was beautiful and it tasted great. The bartenders were super nice and personable. I recommend checking out the Inside Passage for great vibes and wonderful drinks.

Got lucky to get reservation for 5pm on a Saturday last minute for 4. We got there early and they are not joking when they say that door opens at 5. We had a few minutes wait but they let us in right at 5pm and right to our table. Lets start with the décor. Wow is this place fun. Nautical themed pictures, art and décor everywhere. The giant octopus on the celling is a lot of fun. So many cocktails come in themed glasses as well. The drinks are expensive and very light on the pour but they taste good and for the experience its worth it one time.We had the Salmon rolls, Papaya salad, Brea wontons, smoked mushroom bao and sliders. All the food was really good. Surprisingly compared to the drinks the food was really well priced. My favorite was the salmon spring roll. Great flavor and not fishy. The staff is very friendly and let us stay 30 minutes after our stay(2 hours for a reservation). All in all really fun for an experience. If your looking to drink not the best place.

Fantastic drinks, good vibes, and beautiful presentation! This spot is located inside Rumba within a narrow passage. We made a reservation ahead of time and checked in with the people in front of Rumba before getting seated. Their menu has both food and drinks, with drinks ranging from your classic cocktails to their specialty ones. You definitely come here for the specialty drinks though, and that's what we decided on.We got the Inside Passage and the Dinglehopper, both of which were fantastic. The inside passage was super strong but fruity, and there were so many fun little accessories on the drink. Same with the dinglehopper, but it was a lot stronger with the tequila. I really enjoyed both though, and would highly recommend. These definitely have enough alcohol in them too, so come prepared haha.Overall, we had such a fun time here and I would definitely recommend it and come back!

Looking to kill a little time before a concert, my husband and I came to Inside Passage to grab a cocktail. We arrived early enough after their opening that we were able to grab a seat right away without a reservation. The space itself is quite tiny and definitely gives little mermaid under-the-sea vibes. Our server was kind and attentive. We each ordered a different specialty cocktail from their menu (The Inside Passage and The One-Eyed Willy) and the theatrics did not disappoint. What was disappointing was the amount of cocktail for the price - only a few sips and the cocktail was gone. Womp womp! We had already eaten so we didn't try the food but apparently people like the menu and small bites. I don't know if I would go so far as to say this is a "speakeasy" as it is simply a different part of an existing restaurant and is not "hidden". Worth a visit but not my top favorite tiki spot of all time.

My cousin told me about this spot and it made me want to check it out because I like going to tiki bars. Getting to it was kind of confusing but when we walked up to the address there was a sign that it's inside another restaurant. We decided to get The Four Boys for 2 to share ($38). This is the one served in the rice cooker which was pretty cool and different. The drink was surprisingly not sweet, the ube and mango flavor was definitely there. The combination of everything was really good! I decided to also try the inside passage which was recommended by our waiter for not so sweet drinks. Drink was good!Overall experience was good. Wish we had a bit more time to try other drinks and their food but we were on a time limit for an early start the next day. If you like tiki bars, this is a place to try. They take reservations too which I recommend doing.Note: It's super close to Starbucks Reserves.

Loved this fun, unique speakeasy inside of Rumba. It's underwater themed. Loved this giant octopus right above the bar.The drinks are exotic and come in a very preventive ways. The servers have a heavy hand but doesn't take away from the other flavors in the drink. While the drinks are good, they're very pricey ($22-26 per drink). It's a place to try at least once in CapHill!

This is my go to bar whenever I want to get wasted. The ambiance and decor are super nice and really give off tiki bar vibes. The drinks are very strong but still taste fairly nice, although if I'm being completely honest, most of the drinks don't really taste how they sound on the menu. I feel like most of the drinks here market themselves on being picturesque, and on that, they definitely deliver. One of the drinks I usually get here is the Amazombie. The cachaca, passion fruit, and lime kinda give off the same vibes as a mai tai hitting the same sweet, fruity, and citrusy notes while still being original. I also like the One-Eyed Willy. It's a more spirit forward drink so definitely only get it if you like the taste of rum, but I do and it was great.

These drinks are so cute but WOW, they are strong!!! They do not skimp on that alcohol... I arrived on a Friday night at 8:30 PM and it was an hour wait. We were able to put our name down and they texted us when a spot opened up. Once we entered, it's a stimulating ocean-themed interior! An octopus sprawled across the ceiling, the wooden-textured furniture, and the bartenders all wearing tropical designs... It's a tiny, but fun atmosphere!I ordered the Amazombie 2.0, which was honestly... hard to drink! It was REALLY strong and the fruity flavors hardly came through. Didn't taste any acai or passionfruit... I will say that the drink was visually impressive and unique. I just personally wouldn't order it again!

Made a reservation for a Friday night a few weeks ahead and had a great time. It's a speakeasy located inside Rumba. Super fun presentation and really solid drinks, though they didn't bring them all at the same time, which left some of us watching and waiting. The four boys, The inside passage, Jet pilot and Last rites were among our favorite cocktails. Ambiance/decor is awesome, too!

Had a fabulous Friday night pre show dinner at inside passage! I had checked out the website before hand where it says reservations are encouraged yet they do take walk-ins if they have room or if you don't mind waiting. Me and my friend arrived and we were able to sit at the bar and have food and drinks. Pricing was up there a bit (paid about $50 for food and a drink including tip) but all worth it in the end! We both got the rumba beef sliders and oh Lordy they're mouth watering! The aroma, tasty, saucy ... yummmm! And to pair along of course I had to get a fancy inside passage cocktail (pictured here). I don't know what kinda alcohol they use but one gave me a nice buzz! It was refreshing either way and hit the spot! In the end, good food, drinks, service and all around atmosphere! Highly recommend trying this place out for an adventure or even a date night. Hope to be back soon to try more!
