Oh, so close! Indulge India Food Truck has all the ingredients (pun intended) to make for a more gleaming review; only it fell just short in terms of "oomph."I ordered a Chicken Tikka Masala Combo (chicken, chickpeas, rice, and naan). The chickpeas were mainly pleasant, though there were some tough bits here and there. While they were not exploding with flavor, they had solid spice. The chicken cubes were cooked nicely, and the sauce was creamy and tasty with a mild heat.Meanwhile, the rice was cooked to perfection; though it was bland and lacked salt, the sauce from the chicken helped elevate it.Out of left field came the star of the show, the Naan. So soft, with perfect texture, breadiness, garlickiness, and buttery flavor. It was even grilled incredibly! Finally, some have commented about the portions, and while it was perfect for lunch, a little more chicken would have been welcome.

Downtown Andover restaurant is the best Indian food I've ever had. Chef created dishes that are balanced perfectly. You'll taste spices from mild to hot which have the real flavors of the spices, not the pot served flavor you find from most. The Parotta and the Momo dumplings are two particularly unique and fantastic dishes. Murg is pretty wow!Not to be confused with their food truck. Eating family style in this restaurant is just great.

There's an astounding paucity of Indian cuisine in the Boston financial district, so having the Indulge India food truck park at Dewey Square on Wednesdays is a welcome sight. I got the chicken tikka masala which comes with white basmati rice, two pieces of fluffy naan, and a side of Chana masala. It's quite filling and makes good leftovers if you can stop yourself from finishing everything in one go. The dish has a bit of a kick to it- nothing crazy but be forewarned if you're not big on spicy foods.

I devour my first lunch combo (lamb and veggie korma $15) and needed a second one. Don't get me wrong that the portion was small, I was just hungry and it worked out I didn't take a picture of my first one so my second order made up for it. Items were not spicy and the meat were so tender. The naan were buttery and soft with a slight Burt pocket which gave a decent hint of crunch to the bite and when dip into the sauces it soaks up nicely. This can be a popular early Friday release lunch spot when school is out and lunch is served.

Indulge India opened their physical restaurant recently in Andover. Their food truck has been very popular in the Boston area. They offer takeout, online ordering, and dine-in service in the cozy dining room. They offer a variety of Indian fare including a variety of appetizers, hot breads, kababs, chicken dishes, goat & lamb dishes, seafood dishes, vegetarian & vegan dishes, rice dishes, chaats, salads, Indian Szechuan selections, mango lassis, sheka shakes, and desserts. They also offer lunch specials too.I stopped in here over the weekend. On the first stop early afternoon, they were not open until 5pm, so this gave me time to decide what I wanted to order. I placed my order online and returned later to pickup my food, already bagged and packed.I ordered vegetarian fare on this visit including Veg Samosas (2 for $ 6 plus tax), Vegetable Chettinad ($17 plus tax) with Basmati Rice and Chili Olive Naan ($4.50 plus tax), which I brought home to enjoy while watching the NFL Playoffs on TV. The Veg Samosas were filled with potatoes, peas, coriander, cumin, & tumeric in a flaky firm pastry shell, slightly spicy and a very good choice. The Vegetable Chettinad was a very spicy tasting dish with a mix of carrots, beans, peas, potatoes, cauliflower, coconut, fennels, black pepper and the basmati rice was cooked perfectly, not sticky. The Chili Olive Naan served hot was soft baked with chili pepper flakes and olive oil, great for dipping in the spicy main dish. I did not order any dessert since I had cookies at home, but definitely some rasmalai next time.

On our hunt for a new and trendy Indian restaurant we discovered @indulgeindiaft in Andover, Massachusetts. This family run restaurant was exactly what we had in mind, and meeting with Chef Krupa made it even more impressive. Her background as a chef in high profile restaurants like Taj hotel, Sheraton group of hotels, and carnival cruise lines is clearly evident in her fusion style Indian dishes. The spice level wasn't one size fits all, and she inquired of our level of spice intake before making our dishes. We are planning to be regular at this place and we highly recommend everyone to stop by if you are in the North Shore area. And I was told that her husband runs the Foodtruck version, so check it out if you see the truck. We wish this husband & wife team all the best.

Had the Mysore dosa tonight, amazing! Crispy exterior, tender filling, and the side of soup and two chutneys made it even better. The title of this listing is food truck, but they are now a restaurant located on Park Street in downtown Andover. If you like Indian food, you should stop by. Take out or dine in.
