Zionsville Pizzeria

The aromas of freshly baked pizza crust wrap around your brain when you walk through the front door. Zionsville Pizzeria is locally owned and has been serving the people of Zionsville for four decades. It is a particularly popular with the high school crowd and is family friendly. They are known for their pizza/salad buffet which I have never tried. They offer and promote a great selection of local (Indiana) craft beers and wines. The prices for the bevs are very reasonable and they have weekend bucket specials. They offer enticing daily specials on pizza, too. I really like the calzones. The crust is perfectly golden brown and fillings good. Friday, we had a Deluxe pizza. It's a everything but the kitchen sink pizza. The pizza is really good with great flavors and the leftovers taste even better the next day. Leighann, our server was friendly and attentive. The restaurant has about 16 tables. TV monitors are playing sports. We like to sit by the window and look out on the brick street. The place isn't fancy, just comfortable. There is street parking or a lot across the street.

Seriously the best pizza in town! There are so many pizza joints but this one is the best tasting for sure! Locally/family owned business and I enjoy supporting local. The owner always tries to get to know you a bit more each time you come in. Very friendly service. There are so many topping choices, which is awesome and I like that so much! Love the variety. Peppadew peppers are my fave, paired with pepperoni. Always plenty of cheese which I thoroughly enjoy! I feel like chain pizza places are so skimpy these days and always have to ask for extra and pay more in order to get what is deemed as "normal".Overall, love this place! I go here probably twice a month or more.

Delicious!! Highly recommend!My family ordered the Pesto Pleaser, Peppadew, and Greek pizzas. Would recommend all! They were fresh and had great flavors. The Pesto Pleaser was amazing. I cannot wait to get that one again when I am in town.We ordered takeout on a Friday night, and the wait wasn't too bad. Parking is difficult to find in downtown Zionsville though.The prices are pretty high. It was over $70 for 3 large pizzas.Despite these couple of cons, 5/5 stars! Excited to get that Pesto Pleaser again!

We have eaten here a few times and enjoyed the pizza. Tonight we decided to get take out. Pizza was good and deserves 5 stars; however, we also order fries. The fries were a complete joke - they were soggy, not cooked all the way and minuscule. Fries get a negative one.

What a delicious and pleasant surprise! The pizza both thin crust and handtostas fantastic. The dough has an amazing flavor and the toppings were excellent too!They have a lunch buffet that's an amazing value and a small outdoor seating as well as indoor seating. I've got to tell you even if you had to wait it would be worth it. Definitely a place I will be back to on a regular basis. I hope you go try it, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did

This place has pretty delicious pizza and a yummy lunch buffet but the last time ordered from here I was extremely disappointed. First, it set a time for us to pick up our pizza forty five minutes after placing our order. I already thought this was a little too long for pizza but decided that it was a small price to pay for going to a local place instead of Papa John's or Dominoes. When we went to go pick up our pizza, it was ready and a quick process but when we got home and opened the box we found pizza I don't even think I would describe as warm. The bottom of the box was warm so it could have been kept on a heater but that heater did not do its job of keeping our pizza warm. I can get over this, especially when it's a take out pizza. I can pop it in the air fryer and have a seemingly fresh slice in a matter of minutes. None of these things would have led me to leave a review. But then, something even worse occurred. When I opened up our sauce bag I was faced with legitimately one fourth full worth of sauce. If you are charging me 85 cents for a cup of ranch, it should be full. This is where I draw the line. I need ranch to enjoy my (mildly lukewarm) pizza. I need ranch to enjoy ANY pizza and I was just so disappointed. The other sauce we got was cheese and those cups were pretty full however they were freezing cold. It would be nice if they were heated up since I think we can all agree hot cheese makes a better experience. I added a picture of our, literally, undipped and untouched sauces. Do better Zionsville Pizzeria, because next time I'm picking Amore!

Salad bar, nice selection, along with pizza slices at one price at lunch hour including drink.Friendly local residents are owners.

Can improve service and buffet options. I will note- what was provided was tasty!!! Product is good. Limited options for a buffet is not good. Probably wouldn't recommend unless you want a salad bar. Only bright side of this place is that they do buffets on weekends and have good salad toppings. If you want a real "expected" buffet I'd recommend Roselli's on MI road. Went to the buffet (3 hours before closing) there was basically nothing out. Salad bar, pizza with ssg, then pizza with ssg and something else. We waited so see if they'd bring a standard cheese and/or pepperoni out. Nothing. People came in about an hour later. Put in a request. It was fulfilled. My rating may have been higher if I got the memo of request what you'd like, but didn't want to be high maintenance so patiently waited instead. Willing to try again and see if there are more options.

The pizza and service were great. I have no real complaint about anything related to those two things. However, I highly recommend ownership reconsider the cost of the salad bar. $10 for a salad is excessive and really was the only thing that negatively affected my opinion of this place. I will most certainly go back...just no salad bar next time.
