The Zionsville Farmers Market has really evolved over the past 30 years. The Saturday morning market has become much more of a social event for locals than a place to pick up fresh produce. People visit with neighbors and friends. About 10 local farms bring in a assortment of heirloom veggies and fruits. You will find lines for Dad's Corn, which is very good. We love the large cantaloupes, but expect to wait in a line for those. Stuckey's brings their iconic donuts. Several local restaurants and vendors offer breakfast burritos, egg rolls, fancy waffles and bakery items. Like everything, prices are high to get produce. You will pay a premium to carry home a fresh pepper or cuke.In addition to produce, there are vendors selling meat, flowers and other things you didn't know you needed. The market attracts 1000's of people downtown so several shops on Main Street take advantage with sidewalk sales. Parking is always a challenge. Get there early to park close. Bring a bag to carry your goodies.

Went here for the first time yesterday, and although I didn't think it was quite as large as the Carmel Farmers Market It was still quite good. Lots of fresh vegetables, baked items, and meat at what looked to be decent prices. All in a very nice downtown Zionsville setting

Perfect farmer's market! I love that the vendors remain the same all season, so you develop great relationships with your favorite spots. Easy to grab breakfast or lunch while you shop. You can easily make it through all of the booths within 30 minutes or spend 3 hours enjoying the atmosphere. Great live music and kind hearted people!

5 stars alone for being completely accessible. Walkers, knee scooters, crutches, canes and both manual and power wheelchairs are able to get around. Even though it might get crowded at no time did I feel stuck or trapped. When we moved to Zionsville in 2010 the Zionsville Farmers Market was very good. As the years went by the market has grown and blossomed into what it is today. As we approached one of the entrances a flood of wonderful smelling foods washed over us. They had expanded to more than double, have food vendors making food fresh, live music and more to see.We come to the market for the best sweetcorn ever. On this day we met two vendors that have outstanding products they offer and both are people with disabilities aware.Right after we got to the market we felt some drops of rain. Initially thinking what's a little water? Then the clouds opened up. Now mind you this rain wasn't due until after the market closed. One vendor let us get under his shade covering as the rain poured down. The sound was so loud that's how hard it rained. This went on for about 10 minutes or so. Once the rain stopped I noticed not one vendor packed it up, and the crowed of people didn't dwindle either. In fact new people kept arriving. I bought a red T-shirt that says: You look radishing on the front in white. The back just below the nape of the neck has a Zionsville Farmers Market emblem. My sweetie got an iced tea we shared made fresh and wonderfully flavourful. We got in line for sweetcorn line and got a half dozen. Right after we got the sweetcorn the line was wrapping around and growing. We just beat the rush. It isn't uncommon to be in that line for 5 minutes or more. It does constantly keep moving so that's good. The wait for that corn is always well worth it.After that we went over to Amazing Hazel's a hot sauce and glaze vendor. For those that just want liquid sun in a bottle this is not the spot for you.Now if you also like lower heat and wonderfully made and great tasting hot sauce definitely check out Amazing Hazel's. If you wanted to check them out online it's AmazingHazelsDOTcom replace the word DOT with a " . " aka a period.David who I met is the person who makes the sauces. I ended up buying three bottles. Each a different flavor profile. No white vinegar is used making any of Amazing Hazel's hot sauces. Instead a red wine vinegar is used and has a wonderful flavor. As we chatted I mentioned my disability awareness effort and grassroots movement. David as it turns out is friends with the vendor we met during the rain. Jim was demonstrating his wife's prepared meal company. And the food looks fantastic. ChefKarynDOTcom same deal replace the word DOT with a period aka . Turns out Jim has a neurological disability and he runs AutoFarm Mobility deals in wheelchair ready vehicles, power chairs, scooters, and other mobility aids.If you decide to do business with either please let them know Jon the guy in the manual wheelchair they met on Saturday 8/21/22 during and after a hard rainfall.100% recommend Zionsville Farmers Market.https://www.zionsvillefarmersmarket.org/

I have been to several Farmer's Market around town and this is one of the best. Why? Because they actually sell more things that a Farmer grows than most of the other markets. I personally don't need to be tempted by food trucks, sweets, and other delicious treats at a Farmer's Market. I am actually going to try to purchase something so that I can eat better that next week. If you relate, this is the market for you too! They have all of the other "sweet treat" options and a ton of healthy options too! They also have nice people, a great location that is less crowded, providing quick access in and out of the market. If you go, enjoy!

Farmer's markets are a great way for a community to get together and showcase what they have to offer and Zionsville's is no different. I enjoy seeing the variety of things to buy. Only issue is everything is SO expensive. What happened to farmer's markets being a place for inexpensive local goods? $7 for a small load of bread is out of my price range. I enjoy the sustainability efforts and community ties, but ultimately for me it's more about the experience than actually buying something at this point.

Zionsville has such a picturesque downtown and I've wanted to check out their farmers market for a long time - and now I've finally done it! The market is small but there are still so many things to see and vendors to chat with. Just about anything you could want is available. Meats, cheese, fruits, veggies, soaps, plants, coffees, teas, pastries, food trucks ... you get the point :) Scott and I made our way to the Dancing Donut to get an Apple Fritter which was really tasty - great way to kick off a Saturday morning! After that, we swung by Tulip Tree Creamy to check out (and sample) some cheese. Then, Aahaa Chai caught my attention. The woman working was the most friendly person I have ever met. She let me try every single tea and was super easy to talk to. I ended up leaving with more tea than I had planned on buying :) These aren't just your regular loose-leaf teas. She comes up with some funky flavor combinations that are out of this world. I love the apple cinnamon tea with a little bit of chili for some extra kick. That'll help me wake up in the mornings! We stopped by the tent for Grace and Truth Farms to pick up a few kinds of micro-greens. My boring salads are much better now!I also managed to find a zucchini the size of a small zeppelin for only $1. I've managed to make enough "pasta" from it to last me the week! I also used some of it in my salads.Farmers markets are the perfect way to connect with the community and find wonderful food all at the same time!

One of our favorite Farmers Markets. Wonderful assortment of quality produce, baked goods, specialty items, food vendors, and people! Nice having it back on Main Street. We always get fresh sweet corn at My Dad's Sweet Corn - best in Indiana! Always find something new. The array of fruits and veggies is incredible! There is an heirloom tomato vendor with so many kinds we were in awe. Seller was very knowledgeable and helpful. Bought several to try the differences. Artisan meats was our new stop today - got several items we just can't wait to try. Parking easier than you think. Many booths but so we'll organized and manned that lines and people flow keep moving. Prices quite reasonable. Missed the healthy tea spot - will try next week, along with picking up a few herb plants. Zionsville Farmers Market is a MUST DO on a Saturday morning. Kid friendly, dog friendly, accessibility aware. Even in the rain it's fun!
