York Performance Hall

Wow! This is such a beautiful and modern performance hall. It's so bright and airy in the lobby, and spacious and comfortable in the performance hall. There is even a set of seats behind the stage -- I've never seen that before. It's almost like being in a theatre-in-the-round.We have been here for a choral concert, as well as a student film festival, and both times our experience was phenomenal. The sound is excellent no matter where you sit.

A beautiful space to see and hear live, acoustic music! I perform in concert halls around the world and after performing in this one tonight I must admit; this one is special. My group is a brass quintet, and the acoustics were excellent. I imagine it would sound great for other ensembles as well. The hall also features behind-the-performer seating--always a fan, especially when it doesn't mess with the sound in a negative way. Members of the Anderson University community are very fortunate to have such a wonderful new addition to their campus.
