We had an amazing experience at Yamato Express Hibachi and Sushi! From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm and welcoming. The restaurant was clean, and the atmosphere was casual yet inviting--perfect for a quick bite or a relaxed meal.The food was incredible! The hibachi dishes were cooked to perfection with generous portions, and the flavors were spot on. I especially loved the steak and shrimp hibachi, which was tender and seasoned beautifully. Their sushi menu is equally impressive--fresh, flavorful, and presented so well. The spicy crab roll was a standout for me!The service was quick without sacrificing quality, and the staff was attentive and friendly. It's clear they take pride in providing a great dining experience.If you're looking for delicious hibachi and sushi at an affordable price, Yamato Express is the place to go. I've been here a few times for sushi and I've enjoyed the food each time! The last time I went, I got the Godzilla roll, which had everything I was in the mood for! I've noticed that it does take a while for the food to be ready, I've had to wait between 25-30 minutes in store, so I would recommend ordering ahead on their website! The food gets packed to go, but there are a couple long tables and round tables by the window if you want to dine in.

Well not the best bang for your buck. Small portions the picture make the food seem a lot more larger. Sorry but I've hand better sushi . since moving to Indy I've tried a few sushi spot and this one needs some improvement. Don't shortchange your customer.

Ordered delivery thru Uber eats. Uber driver had to stop on the way to make another delivery, no problem. We had the sashimi dinner an extra order of "a la carte" sashimi. The sashimi was good, not excellent. The roll was not worth it, it seemed to be a mystery roll. Whatever was wrapped up......... nothing but mush, unidentifiable. SorryThe gyoza was average, not the worst. Middle of the road.

Nice little sushi shop in Brownsburg in the Kroger strip mall. Seems like mostly take out there are tables for eat in. Plenty of menu choices. Plenty of appetizers also soups and salads and a variety of rolls both basic and specialty. Bento boxes, hibachi meals, and other traditional Asian items. In regards to the rolls the portion sizes are small so you may need to order 2 or more. I tried the salmon avocado roll and the crazy roll. The crazy roll was salmon, tuna and tobika. I didn't care for the red base on the roll but that may just be personal preference. Staff was friendly and preparation was pretty quick.

I got the chicken hibachi looking for a good Japanese spot. After eating half of it, I immediately had bad poop and got sick. Ate the other half later that night and had bad poop again immediately after. Knowing that eating this food not only made me sick, but upset my stomach when I focus on my health daily is what caused me to share my experience. I will not be going back even tho I really wish I tried the sushi..apparently the reviews on the sushi looked good. Stay away from their chicken hibachi unless you want to get sick.
