Woodland Springs Apartment Homes is my top pick in Carmel! It's been my home for the past 7 years. I love it here and so does my family. We love the community and have made so many friends here. Whether you're single, married, have a family, newly starting out, or ready to retire. It has something to offer everyone. The Office and Maintenance staff are amazing!!! The Business Manager, Christy Graves is awesome! Her communication, patience, and efficiency is off the charts. If you're looking for something fun to do. They have it all! Newly renovated swimming pool, gym, tennis courts, and a park. What more could you ask for!

Woodland Springs is a great place to live. The units are spacious, the pricing is very affordable for Carmel, and the location is great (116th and Keystone). The office staff and maintenance team are always prompt to respond to inquiries or service requests. They keep the grounds clean and well-maintained.I have given them lots of odd-ball requests, and they never have told me no. Very accommodating and friendly people. The residents are overall pretty good - no wild or loud tenants. They vet people thoroughly before they approve their application, which I like. Very quiet, safe, and peaceful here.

I have lived here for 3 years and I have enjoyed every moment of it. The management staff is very professional and attentive to any requests you may have. They do go out of their way to make residents feel welcome and try to have community events which is very appreciative. It is located in a good school district and their rent is Affordable.

In searching for an affordable apartment in Carmel, I visited Woodland Springs Apartments. As soon as I walked into the Apartment Office, I knew I was in the right place. The associates were very friendly and the building, itself, immaculate. After moving in, I discovered several things that other more expensive apartments did not have. I am on the first floor, so my patio is covered by the second floor patio. Every other apartment I lived in with the same set up, made no attempt to stem the flow of water from rain. Here, my patio is covered and always dry. Also, you enter your apartment through a heated, well lit hallway that is cleaned once a week with door mats provided. The tile in the kitchen, bathroom and entryway is real tile, not the fake rubbery kind found in many apartments. Best of all, they are the quietest apartments I have ever lived in. They are so well built that the only person I hear is the mailman putting mail in our boxes which are also inside in the hallway. And I only hear him because the mailboxes are on my LR wall. You also have free washers and dryers in each building. The maintenance here is incredible. I called in that my garbage disposal seemed to be stuck and wasn't working. They installed a brand new one! I highly recommend Woodland Springs and intend to stay here for a long time.

A wonderful place to call home. The staff is always friendly and courteous. The property is beautiful. I love working out in the gym. Recently they had a drive thru breakfast for the residents. It was such a sweet and thoughtful start to my day.

Disgusting management, forcing us to keep our air conditioning on (actually no, they just broke in and turned it on while we were not there and forcing us to pay for it). Would not recommend to anyone.

Great place to call home. My first year here and I'm staying another and not even thinking about moving. I know the staff cause they are super nice and easy to talk. They take care of whatever may arise the same week if not the same day.

I have lived at WSM for almost 5 years now and LOVE it!! The staff is exceptional!! Anything I may need help with or repaired, they are on it immediately. I looked at 6 other apartment complexes in the area and nothing compared to WSM. The amount of space you get is unreal!! You will not be disappointed if you choose to live here!!! I love it!!!

I have to be very careful and very clear about this: the review has absolutely nothing do to with the people who work at Woodland Springs. I've been a tenant at Woodland from 2008 to 2014 and from 2017 to 2018 and I've seen a lot of staff and maintenance come and go at the complex. Everyone there has been really really great to work with and a pleasure to do business with. The maintenance staff there is THE BEST I have ever encountered in my life. Hands down. I can't say enough about the people and how well they conduct themselves. However, the complex itself is the issue NOT THE PEOPLE. Let me use an analogy--let's say you had a super bad fixer-upper rental property yet you had the greatest landlord in America. Even though the landlord was great and always responded kindly, courteously, and expediently to your communications, it still wouldn't change the fact you're living in a fixer-upper. There are things that are simply out of anyone's control. That's what living at Woodland Springs is like. There are things that people being nice simply can't fix. For example, when I lived there from 2008 to 2014 I paid multiple hundreds of dollars per month in the colder months for my electric bill. This is due to the construction of the dwellings; they are wildly and hilariously inefficient buildings that were constructed in the late 1960s (you have to sign a lead paint waiver in your lease). Back then, I could afford doing that and the pain associated with that wasn't as great. However, that has changed in my life today and I've re-discovered this pain point in the winter of 2017-2018. Paying $400 plus dollars a month for electric is absolutely a deal-killer in every respect of the word. It's not anyone's fault who works there and that's what I mean when I say that it's out of anyone's control. Again, they are nice enough people and the maintenance staff is absolutely wonderful. But there are things that I've gotten used to renting from other places that I simply can't get at Woodland Springs. Another example is hot water. When I lived there before in 2008-2014 I didn't know that hot water could last a certain amount of time. I learned from renting from other locations that hot water can last more than five minutes. When I first moved back in to Woodland, I couldn't run a bath because the hot water didn't last long enough. The maintenance has since tried to remediate that but that speaks to everything I've mentioned above--the maintenance is SUPERB but there are issues that simply go beyond the people there. It's simply no longer for me. And I feel compelled to let any and everyone know that the heating and cooling is the back breaker. If your family can't afford to pay hundreds of dollars per month in the winter months for electricity then act accordingly. I know I can't.
