Wishing Well Motel

Needs a remodel but good. Convenient location snd good rates for extended stays. Staff is friendly and rooms are always cleaned daily.

Small town motel that I went out of my way to stay because I try to support small businesses. Not sure if the person assisting me was an employee, manager or owner. Whomever he was he was the rudest, most arrogant business person I've ever encountered in the lodging business. His attire was dirty along with dirty hair and beard. I won't go into detail of our conversation as it was very long, When I questioned the rate (which I could have got at any chain hotel) he told me I could go somewhere else. Since I just needed to sleep somewhere for the night I opted to still book a room. He gave me a "deal" on a lower class room. To his credit I was allowed to look at room before booking. The room was shabby and outdated (the bed was a fold out with a foam type mattress,)With noisy air conditioner(didn't realize that til I got back to room)but I will admit room and bathroom were very clean. So I would recommend the motel just not the person running it at the time. The man should not be in any kind of business that serves people.

I really hate to give bad reviews, however, in this case it is easy.The best thing that could happen to this motel is a bulldozer. It is filthy beyond words! The room I was in looked like it had not been cleaned in months. The bathroom was unusable due to the filth. I refused to shower here because of the looks. It has a smell that is awful.

William is a con man. You call up and ask for a weekly rate and the Indian man who owns the place will tell you $250 or around there. Not bad. Then you show up and William will say you're a liar and no one here told you that price. He will then charge $350 for the week. Still not terrible, unless you pay with a card. He told me it would be a $5 card fee. No issue. Not 3.5%, which is what the card reader company charges, but I'm not going to gripe for a few cents. Then I came to pay with a card again and he said it went up "because of Biden" another $5. In 1 week.... I'm not a fan of Biden at all but you don't have to be the assistant manager of jiffy lube to know that's not right. The 3rd week I was there, again paying with card, it went up again. He is clearly trying to avoid people paying with card so he can skim cash out of the register to pay for his drinking habit. William also goes into your room "to make sure you're respecting the place", however, is going through personal property. I know this to be fact because I Bobby trapped my suitcase and bag to see if in fact he was looking inside or just around the room. Every single trap was sprung. I'm talking about the smallest, most concealed pockets. Don't stay here. It's a joke.

The place kept changing their rates all while we were standing there in the office and then to go look at the room. Never ended up staying there the people running it looked heavily on drugs. And the place was dirty as hell.

Manager answered phone I asked about a room. Asking what are the rates and where are you located. His response "you googled my number but don't know where I am" screw you bud I'll take my business elsewhere. Must be a hooker shop

Amazing motel. Can't beat the price. The staff is really nice and caters to your every need. The rooms are very nice.

Cheep rooms and weekly rates. Rooms need to be remodeled but it's a roof over your head
