It's ok. The front nine is harder to me. First tee is close to water but is a nice hole. Holes7 and 8 are tough. Back 9 is more open but has homes around them. Greens are not the best and fairways could use some care but decent for the price.

This is a great golf course on the far north east side of town. We were here for Belzers middle school last golf match. The teams were all over the course is I believe they had a shotgun start. I had no idea where to start to find my son. The pro was helpful in giving me a map of the course. I was able to get a cart and find him within 15 minutes.Course is well-maintained. They were a few areas that water had puddled up along the walking path. Those same areas happen to be swamped with mosquitoes. We had to take the cart around to avoid the water. All the teams had a great time and it was overall a great experience.

Fun golf outing with hubby. I am not a golfer by any means though I do have a cute purple and gray set of clubs he bought me. I am getting better lol and had some great shot but not consistent. Nice course though you better reserve your tee times bc it can get congested. Hubby says the back 9 are crisper than the front. He also says the cost is great. For the 2 of us to play 9 holes with a cart is only $28

Decent enough course. Not overly difficult and would be a good course for beginners but also provides a challenge for more intermediate players. There are some blind trouble areas that pop up right around where your balls would land off the tee box but nothing crazy. First thing I noticed about this course was that there was no driving range so come already warmed up. The greens were a crap shoot from hole to hole. One hole would be fast and then the next would be slow. I really enjoyed the short par 4s on the back nine, they really helped lower my score.

Decent course in ok shape on the east side. Some hills, water and greens with big mounds and tiers. Pretty open off the tee. Price is low which makes it a pretty good value if you live nearby. The place seems run pretty well but an active ranger could be used to keep play moving as we were stuck behind a very slow-moving group who didn't have the etiquette to keep up pace or let us play through.

Winding Ridge is a great, east side course that is relatively new. It features several water holes, as well as a number of mounds located alongside the courses fairways. Don't get caught in the mounds! Some holes even make it further troublesome by having water or sand traps near the mounds, just off the fairways. $34 with cart during the week, there's a league that plays on Wednesday or Thursday, I believe, and they occupy the entire front 9. A few challenging par 5s, and some tricky par 3s, as well.

They have worked really hard to get the greens back from a tough spot last year where they lost parts of the greens! for the money it's still best deal in Indianapolis!

I've always enjoyed the course but the conditions don't seem to change. Burn marks on the greens, fairways not always in great shape. Little pricey which is understandable as everything has gone up but for the money I'd go to saddle brook instead it's in better shape

Course was in decent enough shape. A couple burns on some of the greens. But nothing that was unplayable. I enjoyed my round. However, that was about the rudest and unwelcoming check in I have ever experienced in 17 years of playing golf. The gentleman behind the counter raised his voice at me when I expressed my concern about sharing a cart with my playing partner. I offered to pay for an additional cart and apologized. I haven't been scolded by an elder in quite some time. It just caught me off guard. But $18 in addition to green fee and cart fee that I had already paid for just wasn't going to happen. For that kind of money, I'll play somewhere that shows the slightest bit of gratitude towards their guests. You'd think a course would be willing to do a bit more to accommodate their paying customers. I guess not.. The only thing under par at this course is the customer service. Worth the play if you've never played it! But don't expect to be blown away by course conditions or staff.

Making tee time & checking in were both very easy, staff was very friendly & helpful. Unfortunately this pleasant experience could not make up for the condition of the course. The winter wasn't that bad but you couldn't tell it from the shape of the course. Tee boxes were in poor shape. Fairways weren't too bad but need some care. Greens were horrible, almost all of them had bare spots. Traps look like they hadn't been touched since last fall. I gave 2 stars because I really like(d) this course & I hope they get it back in shape soon. I've played Pleasant Run, Sarah Shank, Winding River and Timbergate in the last month. ALL are in much better shape than this one.
