If I could give "no stars" I would. I've lived in this complex for 4 years. It's gone completely downhill since the ownership change. There is always trash around the complex and the appearance is not what it used to be. The complex is not up to "Broadripple living" standards. These photos represent the norm upkeep of the complex. I did not renew the lease.

This neighborhood has Gone to shit. Trashy furniture at every dumpster, ac in the windows, all the blinds are broken, dogs running around. It use to be a great place to live until the company got bought out and now the new people are so unorganized and they close the pool at 6pm now which is ridiculous most people don't even get off work until 6. Don't move in here

The new property manager is unbelievably rude and ignores phone calls. She messed up our move in date, refused to return calls, and then accused us of harassment for calling after she didn't return our call when she said she would. I have never been treated so rudely before. This woman should not have a job, she was unbelievably disrespectful during a very stressful time that she caused. Not once did she apologize for putting us at risk of having no place to live.

I can't recommend that anyone would live here. The external appearance and price was nice, but maintenance requests were ignored, and even when someone finally showed up, the job was never thorough. The staff was generally friendly and I think genuinely wanted to help -- but I don't think there is a culture here of providing great service to tenants beyond a smiling face. Don't live here, you're far better off paying an extra $150 somewhere else, where at least you know if something goes wrong in your apartment, your landlord might care enough to make your living space more habitable.

Don't move in here! I moved in and was immediately sorry. First night someone tried to break into our back sliding door. Second week our cars were BOTH broken into. The biggest is safety. I was followed in by a strange man when doing my laundry, I forgot something in my car and went out came back in and found him pulling my underwear out of the laundry basket. He tried acting stupid and when I reported it to the office and police I was told he was handicapped. He spoke fine and smirked during this, I later found out he was a sex offender and he walked up to me and said " I would never r@pe your daughter" when I was loading my three yr old daughter into the car seat. I reported it and was told he's handicapped. He has been on my patio twice and a fellow neighbor had the same issue she moved out, this is on top of the fact they had no pool as they said they did. No security. The office tried to lie and say we didn't pay our rent when we did. This place is dangerous and it's filthy. There were roaches and bed ugs in the laundry room so they will follow you home. Ladies don't come here there are sex offenders allover !

What used to be a great place to live! The new owners of this property are making it go down hill very fast. What pool closes at 6:00PM on a Saturday during the Summer? Especially if you aren't paying any pool monitors in the first place? Or a life guard? Most hard working people don't even get off work at that time! Not to mention when we went up here the pool was locked cause it was raining, not thundering or lightening it was raining. Not to mention the lack of maintenance. Glass by every dumpster, beds all over the place, furniture and trash not even thrown in the dumpster. I don't recommend living here since the new owners took over.

New management is horrible. Received an email saying automatic rent payment was scheduled but it was not posted when I went to the office they said it wasn't their problem and would charge a late fee. I wrote a check in front of them and then they stated that they would only accept a money order. I had to repeat my address 5 times. The 2 women were unprofessional and very rude. I wi be giving my notice. Do NOT rent here.

My family and I have lived her for years at Williamsburg North that has been a very nice place to live and raise a family, But now that's not the case anymore the place had been sold with new owners the place has quickly gone down hill for starters the curb appeal is very bad trash littered throughout the entire property trash dumpsters has trash on the outside and lots of furniture also that sits on the outside of the dumpster for at least two weeks, over grown bushes, over grown weeds especially on peoples patios that looks like Jumanji the grass has not been cut over a mouth and half now it is so tall that you can hide in it, very poor lighting, light poles out some been knocked down not fixed, some gutter missing and clogged up and not been cleaned out, Green algae growing on the siding of most of the buildings, patio fence falling down some that is about to fall and now there is a mice problem now the swimming pool has been closed for a mouth and a half and when it was open they closed it at 6:00 pm. The new owners has turned a blind eye with the property looking the way it looks now now we are dealing with vandalism and break-ins. So sad how a beautiful place to live once upon a time can turn into a dump like over overnight

We have lived here for 15 years. New management took and things went quickly downhill. First thing we notice was the pool. It stayed closed the majority of the summer. Then the landscaping. Never seen our grass get that high before. Even seen one the office workers out trying to save face by cutting the grass. To seeing alot of rowdy people moving in. This was in 2018. 2019. Even more rowdy people and their children who keep our good kids in the house because these children bully and curse and destroy things. In april..we turned in a 60 day notice vacate. A week or so later we stop in just to see how much our rent would be if we stayed. We were told by Danielle that she didn't turn in our 60 day notice because she wanted us to be sure we wanted to leave. Of course we were upset, but we said that will give us more time to look for another location. A week later the guy in the office calls.. he ask what are we going to do. We told him we are currently still looking for a new home. The next week my husband goes in the office and tells Danielle that we will stay 26 days after our lease ends and that we would pay the extra month to month fee.. around 1500. She says go ahead and turn in another notice to vacate form. The week of May 22, my husband sees Danielle again and she offers to keep our rent the same if we stayed. He again informed Danielle that we have fould a place and will be leaving on the 26th of June. May 29th, my husband goes to turn in the 2nd notice to vacate and the Manager (Just found out she is Danielle sister) tells my husband that we have to vacate the premises on May 31st. My husband tells her what Danielle said and about the conversations we had over the past couple of weeks. She became very rude and irate. She said Danielle isn't here and that she can't hear only one side of the story. She proceeds to tell my husband that our apartment is already pre-leased and have been for awhile and that the new renters will be there on the 18th. My husband and her get into a heated agruement and my husband leaves. He calls me and explains what happened. I call and try to explain what happened throughout the weeks. She starts yelling about how she is taking Danielle side and that we need to be out by May 31st. She says they are trained to put the notice to vacate in the system and that we should have requested in writung that we wanted it removed. I told her we have been in these aparments for 15 years and we were not aware of this.I asked for corporates number and she proceeds to tell me that it won't matter if I called, they won't do anything but direct me back to her. Then she gives me the wrong number after I said I no longer wanted to speak with her. My husband and I could not take off with such short notice and finding a inexpensive storage and moving truck was hard. Nor could we find anyone to help us move because everyone had previous plans. We did not start moving until Saturday June 1st.. our days off. My daughter decides that she was getting an apartment and unfortunately Williamsburg had a couple available right then and there. She got a 2 bedroom around the corner from our home. So we put as much of our things in storage and packed her apartment with the rest. We have alot of things so come Monday we were still moving. Maintenance rode past a few times and informed the Manager that we were still there. That's when she really turned ugly. She calls my husband and tells him that we should have been out the apartment already. He explained with such short notice that was impossible. She says that if the keys aren't turned in by 1 pm, she was contacting an attorney. My husband had just got off of work that morning from doing a job in Illinois so he get was getting little rest. He got up, went to the office and tells her why we couldn't move. She again all but said she doesn't care. Then she tells him that the painters need to paint and that the apartment needs to be cleaned. My husband says you can give us a little move time since the new renters won't be there until the 18th right? She says I don't know if the apartment will be leased by the 18th. He calls her out on her lie. He asked why didn't you send a 30 days notice if they turned in a our notice to vacate. She starts yelling at him saying we have till 2 pm to turn in the keys or she is contacting the attorney. Now we are living like sardines in my daughter's 2 bedroom apartment until our home is ready on the 26th. Funny thing is.. We never saw a painter or cleaner in the apartment after we left. We feel so violated. You just check out the reviews on Google from the past 2 years. Look at the good residents such as myself that has been there for a long time. You will see how the Sisters have treated the residents.
