White House Donut Shop

It took several visits until we found that magical OPEN sign in front of this little locally-owned donut shop. Jim, the owner and donut chef opens at 5 am and sells until the donuts run out (usually by 9 am). The shop is not fancy, but just plain old cute and non-pretentious. The walls are adorned with a mixture of golf, fishing and miscellaneous decor. Jim greets you with a big smile standing behind a case filled with freshly-baked assorted donuts. He recommends the glazed or cake donuts. He also serves coffee...nothing fancy, just coffee. Jim only takes cash or checks, no credit or debit cards, so bring cash. Most folks take their donuts to go, but there are three tables to enjoy donuts and coffee. I devour a glazed donut that melts in my mouth. Jim offers a donut hole to a toddler that just walked in. This has been my favorite stop on the donut tour. I love a good small local business and I'll be dreaming about Jim's donuts.

Simple. Donuts and coffee on a Saturday morning. Friendly and to the point. I had a cinnamon roll that was fantastic. Apple fritter and donut holes for my room mates. Couple of tables inside and I'd bet the owner would hangout and talk or leave you alone.Overall just what I was looking for the day after a Dave Matthews's show.

Good find in downtown Westfield. The owner is a good, short 5am chat. Donuts are fresh and delicious. Nothing fancy but fancy is not always necessary.

Service was great, doughnuts were heavenly ... cute, quaint, local (cash only) restaurant!

Food:-Yeast glaze - great donut!-Blueberry - solid donut, not too sweet or over powering on blueberry flavor. -Strawberry - my least favorite donut that we bought Interesting to incorporate this as a donut flavor. -Old fashion - another solid donut! No complaints here. All items were decently priced at 80 cents/donut! Definitely agree that you probably want to come early as I am sure the donuts go out fast. We arrived right before 7am on a Saturday and had plenty to choose from.Customer Service:-A nice old man was working the counter, probably the owner based on the previous reviews. Super friend shop and seems like majority of the customers are repeaters. Everyone wore masks.Ambience:-Very cute old town vines inside. I don't think there is seating inside. Small parking lot in the front.I've been looking for a local go-to donut spot and think this place might be it!

Absolutely love this donut shop. It is the only one like it. Family owned & old fashioned. I have had a variety of their donuts over the years & enjoyed them all. They are fresh & delicious. I used to live close by here but now I drive out of my way to get some of these. I will say they have a pretty limited selection if you come after 8:30/9am because they close at 11 or when they run out! Not much seating, but it's a donut shop so I don't really expect that. The nicest older gentleman has owned/ran the place along with his son for as long as I can remember. Cash only!!

Drove by this place a few weeks ago, saw positive reviews on Yelp and had to give it a shot. Heard they run out, so set an alarm for 6am in a Saturday to come and snag some donuts. An old gentleman stands behind a counter and seems like an awesome character just running his donut shop. I got the glazed yeast, strawberry, blueberry, and old fashion. Loved all minus the strawberry. Yeast was amazing. Will be back, but may wake up a little later on a Saturday to push my luck.

This is my favorite donut shop. My youngest and I made many good memories stopping to see the "donut man" long ago. I'm glad they're still open despite the construction. Very good donuts and service.

Best donuts in Westfield hands down. We've been about 3 times now and make sure you either call ahead your order or call the day before because they sell out by 8:30/9am usually. My favorites are the white cream filled, glazed and the cinnamon twists! My kids love them all highly recommend giving them a try but get there early!!
