Whiskey & Rhythm

Went for a comedy show. The menu looked amazing. I ordered the keg and fried okra. I didn't know the kegs had bacon in them because I ordered them based on the picture. My waitress said it was just potatoes. I cut it to see and smell bacon. I haven't eaten meat in 10 years. They were nice enough to refund me. My okra was soft, cold, and mushy. And they made me some more fresh and fried hard. The customer service was really good. It was my first time going, and I'll definitely be back. The music was amazing. Dark vibe inside. Nice intimate space and bigger that I thought. The parking lot was full, but I was able to find a spot.

Pretty cool little spot with a friendly staff. I swung through while I had a little extra time for a beer and a quick snack. The staff was super friendly despite them having some issues with their draft beer taps. They ended up having a special for Bells 2 hearted, which was ice cold and hit the spot. I wasn't super hungry so ended up ordering a plate of fries. Tell ya what... the fries were incredible, good bit of salt and pepper and came out hot n' fresh. Im unsure what vibe they are going for, but they have a bunch of tvs, some good old school hiphop music and decent space.

Found an eventbrite ad so I asked some friends if they wanted to go. It stated you would get a complimentary drink and groups of 10 would get a bottle of Patron or Dusse. None of that happened. Their were 10 of us and we did not get a bottle and when we asked about a drink - we were told if we bought one, we would get the second free - that was not on the invite. Shadey people doing shadey business.

I would leave one star but the food was good and Chef Jordan was absolutely amazing and so accommodating...SHE should own and staff this place.Got an invite here for a family members birthday and I'd never heard of it before, but did some digging since it was such a short drive from my home. I seen some pictures and seen it had a bar / pub feel and decent looking food. Walked in and we had a party so there were three large tables reserved for us...it took 30 minutes for the cocktail waitress to take our drink orders so I went to the bar instead where I waited an additional 10 minutes to get a drink. The bartender didn't acknowledge me so I asked her if I can order a drink and from there I ordered a cognac since the drink menu didn't really have any whiskey cocktails listed...with the name of the bar having whiskey in it that confused me lol. There was a Manhattan listed, but I overheard the bartender tell the photographer "I don't know why they keep putting these drinks on the menu I don't know how to make"...so I kept it simple and my simple drink one ingredient...cognac was $16!!!!!! After another 20 minutes the cocktail waitress took our food orders, she was the only server with a party of 20 people and they had her taking orders on what looked like a iPhone 7. I felt bad for her and you could tell she was in the weeds but her attitude was not the best...on top of that they charged us a 20% gratuity which the server explained didn't go to her that was an entertainment fee. The food came out at different times and I split a catfish dinner with my cousin which only came with one piece of fish and I thought it would be two since it was $16. We also ordered fries and salmon sliders that were tossed in hot honey (they forgot to toss them but the chef came out immediately and fixed it). Those collard greens were amazing and some of the best greens I've ever had.The bar had a comedy show with about 4 acts and the event was listed on Eventbrite for free and if you brought 10 people you got a free bottle of Patron or Dusse for your birthday which was a nice touch...you also got a free bottle of rose. I really wanted to like this place and it has potential especially with the free bottle for your birthday, but the service and prices of the normal drinks was unbearable. I'd gladly order food to go though. Again, thank you Chef Jordan!

They listened to the other reviews because the service was prompt and wonderful and the food was amazing! There was not a long wait on anything and the open mic night was jammin'! I will be back soon!

Sooooo let me tell you about this place. Let's start by the food is "BOMB" we had the Hot Honey wings and cheese fries. They drinks are decently priced and the servers were very friendly!!!! No drama, just great music and fun... If you are around the Indianapolis area you should definitely check it out! There was live music last night when we went.

So, on Friday Sept 9th I decided to checkout new restaurant as well as listened to live music from band The Vault. Whiskey and Rhythm restaurant is very close to downtown, and it's off of East Pleasant Run Pkwy Dr. What I love about the restaurant even before I went there on Friday is they do have a lot of events. Like, on Wednesdays are open mic nights, Thursdays they have Karaoke nights, Fridays and Saturdays they have a live band performing. For, my meal I ordered the catfish fillet with double fries. The fried catfish is $15.00 yet you only get one catfish fillet. However, even though you only get one catfish fillet it was still good. Since Whiskey and Rhythm have different events it does brings out different genre of people, and as far as the food I thought it was just okay. When, I arrived they only had few sides available french fries, and onion rings. Also, on Thursday nights for Karaoke whomever wins will receive $250. I did enjoy the live entertainment, the drinks especially drink called New Orleans Sazerac. I will definitely be back there to enjoy the entertainment.

Checked this place out after work with a friend. I ordered the catfish. They didn't have some of the sides on the menu so ended up doing fries and broccoli. The fish was good, fries were hot but the broccoli was not hot. No big deal as it's not the side I wanted anyway. They are new so staff is also learning the menu. The drinks were good.

Nice and comfortable spot. Drinks are good and service was friendly, Lele is the best!

Nice music, diverse crowd on a Friday night. Live music was great and the food was as well. Definitely will be back.
