West Chase Golf Club

I wanted to use this venue so badly for my wedding as it truly is beautiful. However, I give Jennifer 3 thumbs down. I first contacted West Chase Golf Club through one of the wedding apps, either The Knot or WeddingWire. After a few weeks of getting no response, I called West Chase and someone in charge of golf related things apologized for no one getting back to me and said that things have been hectic as they are transitioning to a new event coordinator. He told me the new coordinator was Jennifer and gave me her number. I called her and left a voicemail. We played phone tag for a few days and after finally getting to speak with her, she gave me her email. She told me to email her reminding her of our conversation and to ask for a pdf/s of their pricing and other info. I emailed the email she gave me and didn't hear anything back for 4 days. I then texted her asking if the email I had down was correct or not. She said yes it was correct and that she had not received my email and to please resend it. I know I sent my email before because I went to my email I had originally sent and simply forwarded it back to her. The day I forwarded the email to her was a Friday, (the original email was sent on a Monday.) She emails me back roughly 5 hours after I forwarded my original email and said sorry about the delay and that she could give me everything next week. I responded with "okay!" and haven't heard anything back since. I waited and waited on her to get back to me (because again, I felt the venue was beautiful) and I finally just decided that the wedding would probably be a mess seeing how she couldn't even stay in communication with me long enough to give me the information about what they have to offer.

West Chase Golf Club and Events has a great 18 hole golf course with Clubhouse, pro shop and Lounge. A Pavilion that seat 250 for Weddings, reception, fundraisers, conferences, etc. Call 317-892-7888 for tee times or to book your event.

We had my daughter's bridal shower this past Saturday at West Chase in their upstairs event space. The room was perfect and the service was exceptional. Thanks to Ellen, the events coordinator, and her team the food and beverages looked amazing and tasted even better. Ellen is so accommodating and great to work with. We can't recommend them enough and would definitely hold more events here in the future.

I can only speak to the golf experience but it was great. The course is beautiful challenging and pretty well kept. I heard stories of issues but that was in the past as I had a good round. The kid in the pro shop was friendly and helpful, bartender too. I felt welcome and no issues with course maintenance and there was a number of water stations with cold, tasty water. I will definitely return to this gem on the west side

Worst customer service everI SUGGEST NO ONE EVER PLAY AT THIS COURSE!OWNER BEWARE OF BAD EMPLOYEES!!!Scheduled two threesomes to play on 04/20/24. Their website even accepted the reservation as two threesomes. (mind you it was 45 degrees and hardly no one was on the course). We arrived checked in and paid the guy behind the counter. He then told us we had to play as a foursome and twosome. They would not let us use two carts per threesome. We explained that we just got done playing 36 a day for the past 6 days as two threesomes on a golf trip and have never heard of such a thing. Also that we were playing a certain game for threesomes, but he said he wouldn't allow us to do that. We then talked to the manager and he told us that was their rule, take it or leave it. And then the manager had the idiocracy to ask us if we wanted to talk with the Pro next. We were never rude or argumentative to either guy and totally were confused at such a crazy thing for them to do. I have never in my 35 plus years of playing golf have been denied playing as a threesome using two carts per group. So this manager just turned down a guaranteed 348.00 plus beverage and food purchases because of his power trip ego. I hope the owner reads this and gets rid of them both as they certainly are not there to help his business. We left and will never suggest anyone play at this course.

Let me start off by saying the venue is absolutely beautiful. As for everything else, it's not good at all. There were only two people there that really stood out to us while we were having our wedding and preparing for our wedding. Brad and Peggy were exceptional. As for Jennifer and the owner Patty, it was a nightmare. The service was subpar at best from them and that's a stretch. We never could get a hold of Patty and she's the owner? Very bad business. Jennifer was a very unorganized coordinator. You could tell she was appointed as the wedding coordinator by Patty on the fly even though she is nothing near that. That made things really really tough and very frustrating. She was hard to get a hold of and did not coordinate a thing. Thank goodness for our own coordinator Madison or this wedding would have been a disaster. On a scale of 1 to 10, communication is a 2 at best. It was horrible. I get the fact that we got a $3,500 room for $1,500. What's even worse was that they let us know that more than once and it couldn't be helped because that was previously agreed on and signed off on. Very poor business practice! Not our problem even though we were made to feel like it. The fact that nobody was there for the wedding really bothered us. They could definitely take notes from the previous coordinator. How is a wedding coordinator not at the weddings when the brides are told that there would be a wedding coordinator from Westchase on site? Jennifer is constantly out of town, and is not accessible. And, if lip service is what you want she's definitely very good at that. They are great at telling you what you want to hear. If you want me to recommend the venue I will do that. However, you better have your own wedding coordinator, your own caterer and your own way to get things done because they are absolutely of zero help. I can truly say thanks to Brad and Peggy. Other than that, it was extremely disappointing and very stressful. I'm glad it's over. The only thing keeping them afloat is the golf course in my opinion. I can now post this freely. When I posted it before we were asked if we wanted to cancel and get a full refund by Jennifer all because my review after hour initial meeting was not what they wanted to read. If you're looking for a beautiful venue, you will definitely get that. Other than that, you will get crap service.

Excellent venue for a wedding or event, great golf course and friendly staff. They have a banquet center and lounge where they have food and drinks. 100%

The course conditions are typically poor, but the course layout isn't bad. I wish it was more well managed, but with reasonable prices, it is a nice option from time to time.
