Oh my goodness!! If you have not stopped in, please do! The wines here are AMAZING! The limeade slushee is a great addition, especially in this heat! Kayla took great care of us and was so knowledgeable about the wines they create! We were on the motorcycle when we visited and came back in the car to purchase a case of 6! My favorites were Unicorn and Mermaid! Plenty of seating from private party rooms to patio areas, so you can enjoy the weather while sipping! They also have a boutique with clothing and a lot of wedding gift ideas from picture frames to his and her wine glasses!I cannot wait to come back to try the wines they offer in Fall!

What a cute little treasure tucked away in Terre Haute! The tasting room is inviting with a variety of seating options, bar, table and outdoor. The token system for a tasting is fun and helps everyone keep track. The wine was delicious with options both dry and sweet. I took a bottle of the Holiday Cranberry home to be enjoyed for Thanksgiving and it was a major hit! Don't forget to check out the attached boutique for great finds and excellent gift giving options.

A hidden gem in the Haute!Any winery you visit in Southwest Indiana is going to produce more sweeter wines than dry wines, by far. And also, most wineries in this area do not produce their own grapes either. WaterTower Estates is no exception, although you will notice little vines catty corner across the street in their attempts to change this. I was advised that the grapes for their wines come from California and Washington state. So despite that I give WaterTower Estates only a 4 star on Yelp more because of wine options, not wine quality, I think WaterTower Estates is absolutely charming, lovely and unexpectedly in Terre Haute (who knew?)I wandered in on a mission to visit with my parents on a Sunday at 4:45PM. They close at 6PM on Sunday, despite what other print materials might say, including their front door. I was advised the 6pm close on a Sunday is their "summer hours" on Sunday. We encountered a cute young couple clearly there on a date (a home run in my mind for a date) and also another couple (who were clearly long time married an equally enjoying their day at the winery). But otherwise, the establishment was quiet and welcoming. The two female employees floating around were friendly and helpful. So we saddled up to a cozy table near the back with a view of the watertower (which is original to the property and thus why it is called WaterTower Estates) and my dad enjoyed a glass of red Cab wine and I enjoyed the tasting flight of five wines for $5. Let me repeat this...five sample size pours for $5. This alone is a great deal and reason to visit, despite this place being charming and lovely. As my dad and I enjoyed vino, my mother browsed the boutique gift store in the front. They have lots of wine to choose from (whites and reds and most sweet). I was advised the normally have beer options as well, but something was wrong with something and no beer options were available. So you pick your wines, there are small cheese/meat containers you can purchase as well, find your comfy spot (inside or out) and enjoy your vino, your company and your time. For a pinot, dryer wine person like myself, the Cabernet Reserve was the top wine in my day at the WaterTower Estates versus the other reds I tried from my flight of five. The watermelon wine I was advised is their most popular wine overall. And although I sampled and it was "summertime delicious" in my head, it was not for me. Again, a sweeter Indiana wine, which is more common at wineries around here. This place really is charming and a place to stop, pause, smell the vino and enjoy the one you are with, be it friend or family. Lovely. Simply lovely and I cannot wait to return.

This is such a fun place! A former home converted into a winery and boutique shop. Lots of space to catch up with friends inside and outside. Small, intimate spaces, public spaces, and a large gathering space. The backyard is full of yard games, patio furniture, and a fire pit. Covered and uncovered seating. There is a swing set, but it is not stable! I watched the cutest 2 year-old bounce around in the tower, and I thought it might collapse. One of the slats came off as she played. The swings made the whole thing sway. I hope they'll reassemble it to tighten/secure it immediately. The wine is typical Indiana sweet wine. If that's your jam, enjoy it! There isn't any food, so don't come hungry! It is pet friendly! I can hardly wait for the weather to improve so I can come back and spend more time catching up with friends in the outdoor space with my dog!! I'd highly recommend supporting this business!

This is my first Wine Slushee from WaterTower Estates. I'm an avid wine drinker, and really enjoy the Wine Slushees. I decided to try the Pina Colada Wine Slushee, and it is DELICIOUS. I have never had a Pina Colada flavored Wine Slushee, but this is bar far one of my new favorites. The pricing is a bit high, however it is served in a large sealed mason jar. The slushees have a very nice, smooth consistency. Parking was very easy to navigate, and the staff are very friendly and helpful!

The place has continued to expand and become one of the best local wineries in the area. They have a great selection, good beers, and the tastings are affordable at $5! Highly recommend this place.

Obsessed w this winery in town. Super cozy, homey & great photo spot. Plus, their wine is fab. they have a great variety of flavors, you can always find one you really like. Trivia night on Thursdays as a great time, and it's themed, so fine wine you're good at, or just come and enjoy some great wine. Theravent Barn is awesome, have to check it out. Plus the little Boutique inside the main house has adorable items for your home for that a perfect gift.
