When I was up at Purdue, meeting one of my alumni, and told them that they could pick the place we eat; she suggested walk on's, I had never been before so I was excited to try a new place, they have different options, I decided to go with the buffalo wings and fries, it was a delicious meal! With great service! I would check them out again! Loved the sports bar vibe!

This place has earned its lack of stars. After eating at several quick service restaurants in the Union Station, we thought we'd give the sports bar a try. "OMG" those words have never come out of my mouth about food in a negative context until now. We started with the boom boom shrimp appetizer and could only stomach one. The shrimp itself was fine but they were swimming in a very sweet sauce that was unexpected. My hubby had a turkey sandwich and loved it so stars for that one. Our waitress was also very awesome and attentive. However I had their Cajun quesadilla and it was full of gristle that I just could not stomach. Sorry but will stick to other establishments in the Union moving forward.

I was visiting the campus and someone recommended that I try this place. The bacon burger with fries were delicious. The food came out quick as well.

Came here mid football game to get away from the heat. Close enough to walk to from the stadium with decent food and drink prices. Tons of tvs to watch the game and lots of air conditioning! Ha ! My friend and I split their giant cheese sticks and ...YUM! They're giant, cheesy and delicious! Staff was really friendly and overall a great experience for being back on campus!

We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon, around 1pm. Purdue had an away game on Saturday so fans were not an issue. It took 50 minutes to get our food, even though there were only 5 other, small groups of 2-3 in the entire restaurant and 2 people at the bar. I asked when the food would be out and I was told, "We are very busy". Did he really mean "short staffed". When the food arrived it was plentiful but the fries were cold, which is interesting since we waited so long. When we were ready to leave we were told they only take credit cards for payment but prefer tips in cash. Really? My understanding is Walk-On is a chain. Hopefully the other restaurants are better run.

Visited Purdue for a week, and this was one of the first restaurants I tried. The waiter suggested the catfish, and I was excited since I never had catfish. The catfish was extremely tender and not overcooked. The spices in the sauce were good, but I think the thick sauce left a bland after-taste shortly after.Having visited a dozen restaurants during my week at Purdue, I would rank this as ever so slightly above average on my list in comparison to what's available near campus.

I've been here a couple of times and my four stars is for the food and quality. This most recent visit the service was good and it didn't take too long to be served. I've had other instances in which the wait for food was a little on the long side. But it's all delicious and I recommend it. The prices are about what I would expect in the area but this is more of an alumni experience than an every day student one.

Been twice. Unfortunately same experience both times. Slow, inept service. Ordered the Black Jack Chicken with no bun. Came with no caramelized onions or spicy mayo and had what I think might have been Swiss cheese (menu didn't mention cheese at all). Took FOREVER to get our food and to pay - once we finally got our food no one came back. I had to go ask for our checks (party of 7). Got an unsweetened tea that was so cloudy it looked like Apple Cider. Such a shame because it has potential.

You can easily find this place in the Purdue student union. Though it is not the top floor of the building, it still has plenty of natural light and a nice seating area with a lot of tvs. The service is great and spot on. I felt like the servers are relaxed and able to work through the menu with you if need be. The food was pretty good as well, and the prices are somewhat on the high end (at least for a student). I've tried the pastas and I liked them. For the Alfredo it cost an extra $5.20 to add shrimp but it was a pretty good amount. My opinions for the food is the presentation is very basic and could use maybe a green garnish and the food wasn't spicy to me so I added black pepper and Tabasco. Other than that I recommend going here and enjoying the nice vibe on campus!
