This event was so much fun! I was a bit hesitant because wine isn't always my favorite. I was pleasantly surprised with so many different wine options and I found several that I really enjoyed! They had food from several different places including Ruth's Chris! We had their steak sandwiches and they were amazing. The live music was great too. We bought a couple of bottles of wine, sat back, enjoyed the wine, friends, and wonderful weather. It was a great event and we hope it returns next year!

LOVE the concept of all the wineries in one place. Hopefully they find a sponsor to bring it back for 2023--as many vinos really look forward to this holy day of Winefesting. If you are going, here's what you need to do:1. Bring blankets and chairs! You will want to set-up a picnic spot for you and your fellow vinos. You will get tired from standing in lines.2. Bring RATIONS! Bring food! The food lines were crazy long this past year (waited an hour for lunch at a food truck). Bring some water for yourself too. And sunscreen. It's usually toasty in June. 3. Bring a GOOD attitude! These lines are crazy-long. Like, Disney-world long. I would recommend getting in early if you can to do tastings, and then buying a few bottles to enjoy at your station. It is definitely doable to hit-up all the wineries, but you will probably lose your wine buzz between the lines and the heat, lol!

We love the Wine Fest and we're lucky enough to be in town for this years! We kept hearing this was the last year for it so hopefully that's not the case. There's always a good amount of wine to be tried and bought along with some really cool vendors this year! The food trucks are always delicious and slinging great food! Slushies seemed to dominate the scene this year and there were some super good slushies! This year was packed and the lines were very long. Overall we came away with a nice haul and are very happy we got to be apart of this years happenings!

It's wine-o'clock!The Vintage Indiana Wine Festival simply does not disappoint. And, when the weather agrees like it did this year, you are in for a special treat! My friends and I knew that we were planning to attend this Festival almost as soon as last year's ended. We make it a point to go, set up tents and chairs, and make a day of this amazing experience.I especially love the opportunity to try out all of the local wines, some familiar to me and some that are new revelations. Of course, I also really really enjoy the wine slushies that are always on tap. It was such a joy to see Sip & Savor Wines in the house this year, and I am so excited that I was able to support them.Whether you are new to the city or an old hat like me, this Festival is a must-attend for every Hoosier!

Vintage Indiana was my favorite event of the year and we never missed a year. We went every year for 7 in a row. Then 6 years ago it got very busy and we spend so much time in line we just stopped going. My two girlfriends wanted to give it another shot so we got VIP tickets. That hour early would help us scope out our favorites and find a good spot to sit and would be like the old days. But then when we pulled up at 10:45 the line was so long you couldn't even see the end. We had our own entrance so I thought things would go smoothly and of course we meant to get there closer to 10:30, but traffic and a parking issue caused us to run late. We had fun chatting up people behind us and we all became friends since we didn't actually get in till 11:45! When I spend $52 each after the fees almost $53 I had no idea we would only get in 15 min early. A main issue was a ton of people in line were in the WRONG line. They were saying their tix said 11am too so it was mass confusion. At some point the workers who were so nice and trying so hard came down the ones and made sure we had IDs out and were checking tickets and a lot of people had to switch lines. They were NOT happy. I think more signs and more people walking the line earlier would have helped. Once we got in it got better. We got a good spot in the shade. We'd already studied the map online. The layout was good. I was worried, but the way they were lined up help us not zig zag and miss some. It did seem that the lines were all in the sun. I don't remember from past years if we always had to stand in the direct sun. I did reapply sunscreen so didn't get too burnt. The best part of VIP was getting the lanyard and bigger glass. I have a huge collection of the smaller ones that serve no purpose and I will use this one. I was happy to find some new wineries. Two EE's had a great set up and I loved the Plum and the watermelon at Watertower Estates was fantastic and refreshing. We are already planning to go there this summer! My new favorite is the cherry from Winzerwald and the strawberry from Patoka Lake. We had a great day in the end. I loved being able to hang out with my girlfriends and that is always the best part. I wouldn't do VIP again unless there is some massive change and we actually get in closer to 11 than 12. The good thing is the regular line is so long and slow too that we did get some time before lines got line. We did miss a big section of tents, but we decided to buy a few bottles and listen to music. I am a big fan of the Flying Toaster and I enjoyed the DJ. My favorite year was the Gin Blossoms. I do think it would be more fun to get throwback bands like that. I get sick of the same bands you can see anywhere in town all summer.

I've worked this festival for one of the wineries for the past several years and they give us a bit of time to enjoy the festival. I love that I can get wine from wineries that are all over Indiana. I don't make it up north of Indy very often but enjoy wines from those wineries. So to be able to get wine without having to drive to the winery makes me happy. Most wineries will sell open bottles or a glass of wine for you to enjoy within the festival areas. It's always pretty warm for this festival so expect to sweat. Plenty of food trucks and craft vendors to enjoy if you need a break from the wine. There is normally 2 or 3 well known bands as well.

Festival of indy wines. Great food vendors. Over 100 different wines to taste. Friendly, welcoming environment. Free live music. Wines from multiple wineriez are available for purchase by the bottle or glass. Did i mentionyou get a free wine glass to sample the wines with? There's also lots of entrepreneurs selling all sorts of products.

This festival is a blast. Its best enjoyed with a group of friends....never alone. What's wonderful...all the choices of wine...what's not wonderful...its hot and sometimes those lines move VERY SLOWLY...and some vendors give me barely a sipple. Now I understand they are trying to be conservative...but when you stand in line for 8-10 minutes and you barely get a taste...its disappointing. Overall, the winefest is a great deal for friends, couples and ladies or guys night out. Make sure to bring several bottles of water with you if possible, a TENT and chairs is highly recommended and snacks. Those 3 things will keep you from looking like a fool when you get really drunk, the water will keep you from getting dehydrated in the heat...and the snacks will hold you until you get to the food truck to order and get your food. This is definitely a must attend for any wine lover in or out of state.

Good times at wine fest. It's nice that the weather was finally nice so that I could come out. Haven't been in 2 years. The lines as usual were long but what can you do about that. It's nice that everyone came to enjoy the day and relax under the shade. Jealous of those that brought tents, that's was such a good idea. The vendors were very nice and knowledgeable about their products.
