Victor’s Mexican Taqueria & Grill

The place was packed and hopping, but we were seated and served quickly and cordially. Food was excellent! Some of the best in Richmond. Lively and friendly atmosphere. ¡Muy satisfecho!

Food is really good. Tastes fresh, not greasy or salt-laden. Menu is recently expanded and includes good veggie options too. Service is slow but staff are friendly. Place is small but comfortable, not cramped.

Amazing New Mexican restaurant in Richmond In. The food was so fresh! Homemade Guacamole! The shrimp tacos (not on the menu) were excellent. So was the steak and cheese burrito. Service was attentive! Food was awesome! On Richmond's northwest side. Opened 6 months ago! You'll love it!

The chips taste from the store, the tacos were unreadable, and the sopes hand nothing but greece. The service was somewhat friendly, but our waiter only came to check on things once. When we told the manager about the food, he started to argue and say we were in the wrong. His attitude matched how it looked inside dark and gloomy, I felt uncomfortable in the restaurant, especially when you didn't even see a bathroom.

They served me rotten food. Victor did not take accountability for the rancid food but instead attempted to play it off as me not knowing Latino foods. I'm from the border and grew up on that flavor profile. For shame, for shame. He doesn't know his audience!

Great food, great service! My picky 8 year old loved it! Awesome! So delicious! Lime margarita was awesome as well!

Tried this place 2 months ago after many recommendations. They did not disappoint. Been back twice since. I could eat there every day. The food is EXCELLENT! Authentic Mexican, and the service is great. You HAVE to try the birria tacos with Mama's homemade consommé. Portions are huge, and ingredients are fresh. (The Margheritas are the icing on the cake!)

I'm sure if I'd eaten the enchiladas I ordered, I would have spent the night puking. I could smell my food as it was put on the table. The smell of cooked rotten onions on top of my food was horribly overpowering. The floor manager was very polite and professional and turned my complaint over to Victor. Victor looked at it and flippantly said there is nothing wrong with it. I asked him to smell my food and he flatout refused to smell it. Victor then thought of an excuse and said it was the cilantro and he actually said cilantro sometimes tastes funny to us from the the USA. I grew up eating cilantro fresh from my mother's garden and of course cooked every way you can think of. Victor would not take the enchiladas off my bill. He was more than happy to have me order something else. I had the guacamole bc ALL Mexican restaurants know how to make fresh guacamole. My sister's meal was good and so were our sodas. Too many other good Mexican taquerias that will give me fresh food but not Victor's.Too bad I couldn't have given them a skull and crossbones rather than a star.
