Good service and good food. Decorated for Christmas and was chilly inside. Will return!

I was passing through town and looking for a breakfast place to stop with family. The food and service was great (I forget the name of my server, but she was attentive and made sure we all had a great experience). One person had the tenderloin. I personally don't like tenderloin, but even I thought it looked good because it wasn't overly fried. If you want a lot of breading and grease, it's probably not for you, but if you like a balance between the breading and the meat, you would probably enjoy it. I got a classic breakfast with egg whites, hash browns, and toast. It's nothing fancy, but it was cooked well and tasted good, and the prices were fair. All of us enjoyed our food, and whenever I am in town during breakfast this would be where I would stop.

It was a great experience! The food was very good. My family and I truly enjoyed our meal. The atmosphere was very welcoming as well.

I have had great service here and I have also had very bad service here. If you want to take a chance with service and hope they get your food right this is the place for you. You will ask for something and you will get half of it and them be told there will be an extra charge for it. You say ok I will take it and then never get it.

This restaurant is a regular spot my family. The food is good, the service is fast and the menu is large enough to offer plenty of options for some of my picky eaters. Try their pancakes. They're delicious!

If you are looking for a great breakfast place in Monticello I am going to have to be the one to break it to you... there isn't one.Two options: drive to Lafayette or skip breakfast (I first went to Kinsers bakery because I was told the donuts were good but they are cash only?) For lack of other options we stopped at this location this morning (my wife and I) and was surprised because there were quite a few cars outside (had been here before and didn't remember it being great but no other places offered a decent sot down breakfast I could think of) the crowd is all mostly senior citizens and they do offer a special discount for those customers.The building, menu and everything is about as average Sysco as you could think of.. which sometimes surprises me. But not in this case.Food was bad, service was almost as bad.I ordered biscuits and sausage gravy which contained some average tough biscuits and some incredibly flavorless gravy. With a side of bacon.. Wife had an egg and cheese croissant and a side of hash browns with coffee.The biscuits and gravy were no bueno... the egg and cheese croissant sandwich wasn't too bad, neither were the hash browns... I never got the bacon until the end of my meal when the waitress walked out and said I'm sorry I forgot the bacon carrying it on a small plate and said would you still like it... I replied no. And she scribbled it off my bill and took it back to the kitchen? Maybe they are going to serve it to somebody else. Bill was 20 bucks plus tip.. wish I would have went to Burger King instead and I hate Burger King..Avoid this less than average restaurant if at all possible.

WOULD BE 20 STARS IF NOT LIMITED BY 5 STARS!!!The menu at this place is insane! Anything you want right down to the down home feeling. The servers are on point and always stopping by your table. And the food..... good lord can the chef's cook. If i want just traveling through here they'd be my breakfast, lunch, and dinner

I ordered the bacon omelette. Service was OK, didn't really come back and check on me at all. I would've liked to had my hashbrowns a little more brown, I waited for the help to come back and didn't really come back until it was time to drop the check. That being said, they did have a huge menu, so there's lots of different items to pick from even for your picky eaters in the family. Overall I thought the pricing was fair, and also the place was packed. They had a lot of different items to pick from so it was hard to make a choice. Overall ok restaurant

Ordered omelet breakfast which was cold. Went again, ordered cheese burger and the bun was so old and dried out it fell apart. The fries were cold. Sorry, can't do it again! Staff appear very lax.

The tenderloin was the worst sandwich I have ever had. The owners should be ashamed. Will not go back.
