I come to Rockville once a year for an event and this is my go-to spot for coffee, I also am able to sit here and get my work done it's not normally Busy in the week time, the ambiance here in decor definitely add to the experience. My only thing is I wish they opened earlier than 9am, but I can understand in this town It appears as though the entire area the sort of a 9 to 5. But I still love this place It will probably come here everyday that I'm in town.

While passing through Rockville I was looking for a Latte and came across Urban Farmchic. As I walked up to the entrance I could tell this place would be special by the décor outside.I couldn't believe my luck when I walked in the discover this adorable shop with handmade items and gifts and a coffee shop in one! There were many drinks to choose from. I ordered the English Toffee Latte. Although I wished it was a bit stronger, I still had a wonderful experience and will stop again when passing through.

I'm always up for the delicious drinks they make for a change up from my usual sweet tea, and this week I'm loving the simple tastes of my lunch: grilled cheese with nice crispy bacon with two sides. They had about eight choices for sides and I opted for mixed fruit (fresh blueberries and raspberries) and an intriguing warm lemon cobbler. I'd never heard of that but it was SO delicious. Lemon is one of my favorite flavors. They always offering specialty candies and cookies and pie. Baking mixes and sauces, plus some cool vintage decorations, souvenirs and gifts They are restocking store items all the time and since my last visit have shifted around the service counter so it's facing the door. Staff is always nice and friendly... super helpful.

Ran in to grab a coffee. Timing wasn't the greatest as they were already extremely busy due to the Covered Bridge Festival. Not sure if this is a place I would frequent again. More of a store selling klitchy stuff?

When walking around the courthouse square, I noticed a sign for "Urban Grounds" and nearby, "Urban Farmchic" with lots of Autumn festival decor out front. A cup of coffee sounded good, so I entered.Urban Farmchic (pronounced chick, not chic. Using the "k" in the name produced too many inquiries about buying chickens!) is a new addition to the square after starting in a more rural setting. The new shop has a small seating area on the left, then the counter for purchases, ordering coffee, or selecting a candy/fudge option. The rest of the store has a mix of women's clothing, some smaller items that could be home decor, and even a section for dog lovers. It's got a little bit of a diverse selection. The space is a little congested, so when you walk towards the back, the nooks block your view of the rest of the store, but in mid-afternoon, it wasn't crowded so I was able to get around easily.I liked that the coffee was "ready to drink" without 20 minutes of cooling time. I also picked up some chocolate "turtles" and peanut butter fudge that were good. Of course, home made candies tend to be pricey, so the good news is that unless you're rich, you shouldn't need to worry about calories! ha!Very friendly staff who was pleasant and helpful.Review #3143

Great place to stop and find a unique gift, but I would not recommend Urban Farmchic for their drinks. It is located in a small town and for the area the shop seems modern. They do offer pour over coffee, but no espresso drinks. I ended up getting a cider. It was nice for the warmth, but not the taste.

My family and I have taken a couple trips to Rockville and each time we have stopped by Urban Farmchic! The woman who owns the store is incredibly nice and welcoming, the environment is so neat, and she has bubble tea! She has flavors syrups, 3 kinds of boba, and even a lemonade option! If you are in the area this little gem is worth stopping in!
