Urban Brew

I stopped in after #OptOutsideIN2024 at McCormick's Creek, grabbing their Bee Sting Latte (Jalapeno infused honey latte) and one of their delish #croffles. I craved a sweet treat but nothing too heavy, and the apple & PB croffle was beyond perfect. I cannot wait to stop back in when heading to the park!

Unique business offering cafe and kids' play place. Tasty sweet concoctions and large portion "croffle" (croissant waffle) treats. Cute individual seating areas and a community room, too. Outlets on the walls for remote working, though the shrieks of children playing may not be the best backdrop for a productive environment. ;) Although they do ask kids (and the parents watching them) to abide by a no-running, no-screaming policy.I recommend the iced Raspberry Bliss drink (white chocolate mocha with raspberry)!

A lovely surprise find when visiting Martinsville. The coffee was very good and the atmosphere was delightful. A haven for moms of small kids and women in general. Lists of space to sit and chat, work or just relax. The staff was accommodating and knowledgeable. The food was good and the had plenty of small offerings. Worth the stop!

This was the only spot I hadn't planned on our trip but I'm so happy we found it! The best meals and drinks by far that we found near Indianapolis. We stopped by on the way to hunters honey farm and the staff was so sweet while the space was just a dream of pink and cute signs everywhere!

The food and coffee was amazing. They also have a cute play area for kids - which means this is a great place for moms to meet up for play dates!

I am a sucker for great customer service, quirky details, unique food & drink options, & a strong mission/ vision... & Urban Brew has it all. I never would have it known it was a brand new business if I hadn't heard about the opening from a friend... they are killing it in their first week!The croffles & drinks I split with my friend were all delicious, & I especially loved the details in both restrooms, but was inspired by the Community Room message and vibe.On their website, Urban Brew says "We believe it takes a village to raise a child. While this is such a common saying, very few businesses actually implement this into their business model. Our Coffee Shop was designed with your family in mind. YOU CAN SIP WITH US." And I truly felt that.While I do not have children, I was a choice-based art teacher & am familiar with the Montessori/ student-led mindset/ imaginative play, & it makes for a warm, energy-rich atmosphere, where I felt like a regular surrounded by friends. I highly recommend you visit, ASAP!

This place is absolutely awesome! They have great tasting g drinks that are made with love! The service is exceptional and the atmosphere is calming! They also have health improvements on the other side of you are looking to detox your body and relax!

I do think this is a good place for Martinsville. The only downside is that the person who served me was kinda rude. The drink I tried was the Watermelon Mojito Refresher and it was a little too sweet. The upside is that they have a play area for kids. Going to try this place again.

The charm of this play cafe is enchanting The aesthetic, the coffee, and the food get a 10/10 from me! If you haven't tried a croffle, you must! Trust me.This is such a welcoming space to all! Also I love the wellness center! The sauna room is amazing!!

Cons : The first visit to urban brew was on a Thursday morning , wasn't too busy . I waited a while for my croffle. I wasn't too worried bc I know they are new and still working out the quirks . I did think paying 20+$ for a coffee and half a sandwich was insane . Saturday I decided to give it another try. Ordered a coffee and an a waffle and a parfait. Close to 30$ . Very very expensive for what you are getting. From the time we walked in and walked out it was over an hour. It took that long to get our food and drinks . I think they should consider hiring more employees. Especially with how popular and crowded this place has been. If you are looking for a relaxing coffee joint this is not it. It's over run with screaming children on a playground . Also the mini playground isn't free.
