Trolley Steaks and Seafood

I travel to Ft. Wayne for work pretty frequently. I've been to Trolley twice now, and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. I was a little dubious when I walked in because, let's be honest, the place is QUITE dated inside. Oof, I thought...but let's give it a try. Although it is dated, it is clean. The customer service has been very good. And the food is good. I got salmon both times, and it was cooked nearly perfectly both times. I'll return next time I'm in town!

Had excellent service from Kiera. We had a group of six. We ordered an array of dishes and Kiera was polite at all times. We had to ask for the bread but that seems like a restaurant policy when observing other tables. I ended up ordering a Key Lime Martini, which tasted exactly like its namesake. The food seems a little expensive, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quantity of some of the food.

Still an outstanding salad bar. Thursdays are $6 martinis. My wife loved the walleye fingers! The staff here is always friendly and professional.

The food was great! Everything was as ordered. The service was pretty good and he was very attentive. Everything looked clean and orderly. Only suggestion would be to update the bathroom. It's kinda run down.

Forgot to get a picture of the salad bar but it is delicious and there is a wide variety of toppings. I do wish they had red wine vinegar for dressing though. The bruschetta was some of the best I've had, would definitely recommend trying this appetizer. The French onion soup is OK, I've had better in Fort Wayne. I think it is missing some flavor. Service is good, our waitress was friendly and attentive. We were sat in the back, it was quiet and a good place to meet for dinner. Will eat here again for sure.

The ribeye steak I had was not worth the money. It was burnt on the bottom. Salad bar was good. Lots of choices. Very dark atmosphere. Overall the image of being a high end restaurant is not the case. Really just kind on disappointing. You should also not have to stare at the cooks the entire time you're waiting for your food. Every cook was wearing a different color baseball hat. Not a good look.

Gabe, the server, was a star! The salad bar is fresh and has multiple options. The steak was cooked to perfection rare. The hand whipped butter and all the other details made tonight a special occasion. Wonderful all around and will be back.

On our recent visit we did not have a good experience. While my husband had the Sunday buffet and was happy that was not my experience. I ordered off the menu and it took 3 attempts to receive the correct omelette. Our waitress was not easily found as she disappeared quite often. The restaurant has open concept so I did see the manager being advised of the situation. He did not come to our table to apologize for the situation. When he walked by our table I confirmed he was the manager. I explained the situation that he was aware of. He stated my omelette was given to the wrong table but didn't offer anything. I asked for compensation to which he offered 20% off the bill which I thanked him and accepted. Sadly to say I do not believe we will return which I am sad, As other waitresses I saw were ever attentive to their tables and customers.Possibly further training would be helpful.

I'd give it maybe 2.5 or 3 stars. The drinks and the lettuce wraps are good. The steaks are overpriced and not worth the money. If you are going to spend that kind of money at a restaurant you might as well go to cork or black canyon. The inside was pretty and has a good vibe.

We tried the savor menu and another person in our party had the feature and we were very disappointed in the food for the price we paid. Also our waitress was not very attentive at all. The tables around us received better service.
