Great value. Though the service is hit or miss. I had the fried Walleye with a salad and baked potato. I also tried the teriyaki steak, which was pretty good as well.

Treece's in Rossville is a legendary restaurant. People drive from all over to dine here, and you are probably going to find someone you know even if you don't live in Rossville. The prime rib is the specialty and recommended. The ambience is small town cafe eclectic/accidental. The serve staff is friendly. They do all they can to accommodate your party. It's worth the drive from Lafayette - or anywhere.

5/23/16 Was there 2 evenings ago and the waitresses did everything possible to ignore me, as I was preparing to walk out one reluctantly took my order. She was acting like she ran the place and was bragging about how she had been there for 2yrs like that was a major accomplishment ,,, The chicken was barely recognizable as Fried Chicken !Everyone acted like they were the only game in town and u 'have' to accept their service or else ! Take your money and go somewhere else ,,, go ahead to Lafayette for a 'good' meal & better service !

Rossville's renowned restaurant. Service is hit or miss, like the menu. As a life-long resident I've had a fair share of visits, yet almost every time I visit I leave the place feeling like it's lacking something. Perhaps it's a need for a more original menu with some creativity. Or perhaps the need for less deep fried options. Fortunately, the town now provides several other options for which I would rather frequent.

The last time we we're there, the table was dirty. Today, the waitress was so snappy and unpleasant we will not be back. It is a shame because we've been faithful customers. I WILL NOT be treated disrespectfully.

Treece's has been a staple in Rossville for many years. I saw most negative reviews were from ~2012-2015 and frankly the negative reviews were deserved during this time. BUT it is now 2024 and both the service and food have returned to an excellent level! The "Big" Sirloin steak is as good as you will get at any steakhouse. The fried catfish and perch are excellent as is the breaded tenderloin.I'd highly recommend giving Treece's a try and Always nice to see a restaurant recover from some bad management.
