Tree House Eatery Drinkery

Had the basic cheeseburger and fries and was not disappointed. I came in at an odd time like 2 pm and was helped quickly and the food was out very fast.

My mom and I usually travel with our dogs so we're always looking for pup-friendly spots and were excited today to come across Tree House (previously 7th & Elm) and try somewhere new. Not only are dogs allowed to dine inside, but they offer water bowls AND a good doggie dining menu! This is especially great when the weather is cold (or too warm!) There were no complaints from my pup as she downed her 'Lucky' meal.Our waiter, John, mentioned that all of the doggie dining menu options were actually named after the owners current dogs! Cute touch! Service was warm and attentive (thanks John!) and they were incredibly accommodating on our food substitutions since I don't eat meat. I was also excited to see that they had a good sized menu with a variety of options-- sandwiches, burgers, salads, appetizers, hot dogs, and desserts. I wouldn't say it's a full 'dinner' restaurant, but great tasting, fresh, AND flavorful meatless options which are great for vegans/vegetarians. They had dedicated parking, patio area, an upstairs (I'm sure is amazing in the summer!) and clean restrooms.I even noticed signage in the women's restroom that encouraged safety for 'Angel shots' in case anyone felt unsafe and needed to communicate safely with the bartender for a ride home or the police! They also have live events, music, and great drink specials.It's right on Indiana State University campus so it could be missed, but don't overlook this gem! -- 5/5 from this Pup Mom

This is a really great spot for a casual lunch or to grab drinks! We stopped in for lunch and I got the new chicken bacon ranch wrap with chips and it was delicious. It came with plenty of ranch in the wrap and was very filling. The burgers and apps are also great. Perfect spot for cheap drinks and to meet with friends!

My partner and I dined here a few weeks ago for a casual Saturday dinner date. We have been meaning to visit for quite some time as they are now under new ownership and are always promoting interesting specials and fun events on their Facebook page. I was impressed!With it being summer, it was not crowded or loud at all as the students are out. We were able to seat ourselves and were promptly greeted by our really nice server. One of the drink specials on Saturday were $2.50 shots, and they had such a creative shooter menu! I had an Irish breakfast shot and a PB&J shot. Both were great!They had quite a large dinner menu. For my entrée, I ordered the vegetarian chicken parm wrap. I appreciated that they had a vegetarian option that sounded yummy and unique. It was really tasty!For dessert, we split an order of funnel cake fries. It was really yummy and was topped with a sweet blueberry or raspberry syrup that really took it to the next level.I was impressed with the food overall. I would describe it as "elevated bar food," as you had your typical bar food options, but some really unique choices as well. My only complaint would be that it was somewhat pricey for the portion that you get.Overall though, we plan to come again! I was very impressed with the Treehouse and hope it stays in business for many years to come.

Memorial Day, after helping pack college student stuff, wanted good cold beer and something to eat. Right off ISU campus but students gone. Had upstairs outside to ourselves. Buffalo chicken poppers were great,sly burger and dragon burger were great. Raspberry wheat ale for my better half, Bells 2 hearted for me. We were well attended, not smothered or ignored. Highly recommend!
