Trailhead Pizzeria

One of the best pizzas I have ever had! The sauce is very tasty! Good beer options also. The service was quick and friendly. The space is big with lots of wood to make it feel cozy and inviting. We camped at Monroe Lake and it was just up the street! Definitely going to go back!

Folks on the east side of Bloomington hopefully know how good they have it by having Trailhead Pizzeria nearby. Living on the west side of town, we've got some good places to choose from, but nothing like Trailhead. This pizza is a singular experience. For most of town, when you think of locally owned places, you think of Aver's, Pizza X, and Mother Bears. All great places. HOWEVER....On the east side.. if you're willing to drive a bit, there is a little chunk of beauty known as Trailhead. Super casual. They seem to do a lot of pick up business. We were on the east side tonight, and I was trying to think of a place to eat that was unique to the east side. Trailhead! We got there around 6, and it was pretty quiet. The server was very nice and attentive. Our meal was simple, a pepperoni pie with a side of cheese bread. I do not have words for how good that cheese bread was. I don't know how or where they slip the garlic in, but they do it in a way that helps the flavors blend beautifully. Everything was hot and wonderfully cheesy in a proper pizza way. The pizza itself was cooked very well, with their amazing crust. I intentionally ordered more than I could eat just so I would have leftovers to look forward to. This place is an easy 5 stars. The interior of the place is nothing special, like I said, super casual. If you are anywhere near the area, check them out. They are just simply so good. Period. They once had a location downtown, which is how I discovered them in the first place. Hoping they try for a second location again sometime so more people can experience this amazing food.

Staff was friendly, pizza was made pretty fast and was also delicious, music was great, great place for a family dinner 10/10 I will definitely come a lot. This is also my new favorite pizza place. Cinnamon rolls are also my new favorite cinnamon rolls.

We cannot say enough great things about Trailhead Pizza! We had the Bonfire Pizza - top 3 pizzas we've ever eaten! Homemade dough was just icing on the cake! The people and service were fabulous - Sarah made us feel right at home. They offer draft beer and specialty cocktails, too! Not to mention, live music every Friday and Saturday. If you haven't already, you need to check this place out! We'll be back!!

Very pleasant first experience at Trailhead Pizza tonight. We ordered the 446 Supreme and it was delicious! We asked them to hold the onions and that was no problem for them. The employees were a friendly bunch. Mason, our server, took good care of us. We will definitely visit Trailhead Pizza again!

I love this place. It makes me feel like I am on vacation and that summer is around the corner or here.The service can be spotty and take a long time (you have been warned). That being said, we have been making it our Friday night regular with another couple. The live music has been awesome (sometimes a little loud for conversation, but we are ok with that). Now, this is what you really need to know. THE RANCH IS SO GOOD. I don't know what the heck they are doing in that kitchen, but it involves dill and results in the best ranch ever.The salads are huge and fresh. The breadsticks are binge worthy. The pizzas have always been amazing, love the crust!My latest fav, the basil margarita - yummo!

Tried to order over the phone, and they refused to honor the prices advertised on their website. I was trying to just order directly to support the business, cause we previously had good experiences there, and was surprised when the bill was $12 more than ordering online would've cost. Asked for an explanation, and an incredibly condescending manager named TJ said that they "use 8oz of less cheese" on online orders, and couldn't give me the prices listed on their own website. I was truly baffled, and rather than helping me out, TJ said "it would take 30 minutes to explain it to you" and told me to either pay what they demanded or cancel my order. Take-out/Delivery customers beware! A super confusing and contradictory system, and anything but complete obedience is met with a bad attitude. Too bad, this place used to be great. New ownership seems to be struggling

Awesome service, fresh food and nice place! We brought our dog and they were super kind about outdoor service!

not once but twice I placed a pickup order and it's been twice the estimated wait time. due to "it not being transferred from the tablet" - quote employee. I'm not normally one to be upset about things but both times we've been traveling and it's taken 50+ minutes for a medium pizza when the quote time was 15-30. good pizza but not that good

Pizza delicious. Service can be slow, but I'm always there at busy time and workers are trying diligently to keep up. Comfortable, relaxed atmosphere.
