Trader's Mill Grill & Bar

I would go more so 3.5. We walked in and the vibe was nice, big and fairly nice bar. We get greeted right away, but I do think the server may have been overwhelmed. Quite a few patrons and the place is big enough to spread one person thin. The food was good - I did chicken enchilada soup and quesadilla. My husband got a build your own burger (came out without the bacon, not a game changer) and Cajun coins. We agreed the quesadilla and Cajun coins were our favorites. We'd give it another go because I feel service isn't a reason to stop after one time.

Went Saturday with a total of 10 people it was pretty empty when we went in. The bartender ran the whole place herself and she killed it. Luckily our group are very good tippers because she deserved every bit of it. We got a lot of different things to share, it's standard bar food their mozzarella sticks are huge and so cheesy.

First visit to Trader's Mill for lunch. We ordered the Club sandwich with onion rings and the Gyro with fries. Food was quicker to the table than expected and had good taste. The server guy obviously works hard for guests and provided excellent service.The lunchtime atmosphere was pretty chill, but I could see this place getting lively in the evenings, especially during bigger sporting events being displayed on multiple TV's and projector screens. I can definitely tell I am in Big 10 country here. LOLOverall, a good place.

I've been here several times while vising Indy for work. Trader's Mill is a big space with a large "U" shaped bar in the middle of the place and ample seating through out the rest of the space. There are also a few pool tables and several flat screen TV's scattered around the place.The place has undergone a change in ownership in recent years which has been good overall, but the beer list has suffered for it. Last time I was in, I had the pizza which was quite good.The bartender was friendly and attentive.Overall, not a bad place to stop and get a couple of beers and some pub food, but I would love to see them have a better curated tap list. This is a time I wish I could give fractional stars (3.5 Stars)

Great drinks! Great local bar! Love the gyro salad here. Actual gyro meat strips not the frozen kind.

Food was okay. Server was very friendly, but kept mixing up orders. Music was SO loud, that it was difficult to talk to the person sitting next to me. When we asked to have the music turned down, the bartender refused, saying "This is a bar." I won't be back.

After many years of coming here, I still enjoy Traders. They've been consistent and the food remains good. They've got a great outside area to chill out in. Service is typically good and there is plenty of variety in the drink options. This is a bar, so no kids allowed. There are plenty of tables to choose from. Also, there are 3 pool tables, and a pop a shot game for a little fun. Typical bar food, my faves are the potato skins and garlic knots. They also have a gyro which is pretty good too. Pizza is great as well.

Great local bar. Came in on a friday night and it was seat yourself. Grabbed a table and was greeted by a server. Place was pretty busy but server let us now he'd be with us and took good care of us.We ordered fried pickles, pork tenderloin sandwich and a burger. Overall food was pretty good.Atmosphere is a sports bar - lots of tv and noise. Good place to catch a game!

Surprisingly good steak. Good food and good ambience. Grab a drink and hang out. Good for game times or just chilling

Traveling for work tried something new. The food was good and casual bar atmosphere was nice. Server was amazing!
