I stayed here for 2 months. I had multiple items stolen from me during this time. After I reported it the Manager did not even follow up. They would skip cleanings and say I refused service or that they did clean etc . I had a much better experience at Hampton. Entire second floor smelled foul like old weed smoke. If it snows or there's ice rain you are on your own they're not going to salt. Several times there was issues with getting hot water.

We were looking for an overnight stop on the way to Cincinnati and chose Towneplace Suites. The decision was a good one. The property is new, so in excellent condition. One caveat: the address on the Marriott website is INCORRECT. If using GPS you may need to turn R on access road not L. I found a friendly staff at reception. Exactly what you want--a staff that projects a "welcome! Good to see you" message. As for the sleeping room, think Residence Inn on a compressed scale. Similarly fitted out, but less sq. footage. Perhaps a bit cramped by comparison but comfortable, clean, bright. Similar amenities, just less space. And since a guest's time spent in the room is primarily sleeping and shower time, the value is good. I'm looking forward to my next stay there.

Our stay at Towneplace was enjoyable. The rooms were spotless, breakfast was decent consisting of: bagels, eggs, juices, coffee, etc. The front desk clerk Deven was very nice and helpful. He has a great attitude. Our parties were from Chicago and Texas and all agree that hotel was very nice and would stay again and again.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Go across the street, there are many other hotels to choose from. My stay here was truly one of the worst experiences I've ever had in my life. I've had the opportunity to visit many countries and stay in many different hotels... and this was still the worst hotel stay ever. First night: after traveling for more than 10 hours, I arrive and check in. I go downstairs for a moment and when I return, the key card isn't working. I let the front person know, they make a new set of keys, and I try again. Still not working. We repeated this four or five times, and finally I ask her to come with me and do it herself because it was driving me crazy. She can't open the door. I waited for about three hours in the lobby while she tried different ways to open the door, but still couldn't! She said she was new and her manager was on vacation and couldn't reach her. What kind of manager/owner does that? Leave someone inexperienced alone without a way to get in touch? I'm finally told I could wait in a different room while she tries to figure something out, but the locksmith can't get there until the morning, so I won't have access to all of my luggage until the next morning. Mind you, it was almost midnight by now, I'm tired, hungry, and now all of my luggage was locked in a room. I had to work early in the morning, so you can imagine how upset I was. She did eventually get the door open after several hours. The following day, I find that the phone in the new room didn't work, the light in the bathroom all of a sudden didn't turn on, and the heater would stop working at times and let out cold air (it was freezing outside). These issues were eventually fixed after a week or so. They mentioned the handyman couldn't go to the hotel because he was experiencing car issues, which is why it took so long. The night before I was set to leave was probably the worst day there, and it lingered for about two weeks after I was gone. Since I had an early flight the next morning, I called the front desk letting her know I wanted to check out, but I also wanted to change the card on file. I said I would be down in five minutes to do that. She is Ok, I'll have it ready. I questioned her and told her again that she didn't need to have anything ready because I was coming down to change my card on file, and then check out. She said ok. Five minutes passed, I went downstairs. Saw my co-worker at the front desk, and she informed me she was also doing an early checkout and went to go change her card on file. When the front desk lady helped us, she had our bills printed and cards charged. WHAT! We had both told her we were going to change our cards on file. It wasn't a small bill either since we had stayed there for two weeks. We let her know she made a mistake and she needed to fix it. Well... things just ended up getting crazier and crazier because she kept messing up by charging and voiding, and charging again, and voiding again... in total, my co-worker and I had about $10,000 in pending charges on our cards. We were so upset. The front desk lady started crying and calling her manager. The manager was trying to help her over the phone, but refused to go to the hotel (once again, the employee was new and was left alone... seems like a pattern here). We kept asking her to let the manager know she needed to come fix this mess. She kept saying the manager refused to show up. My co-worker and I kept calling Marriott directly and received terrible to no help in the beginning, saying they couldn't do anything about it. We kept calling, talking to different people, until finally someone from Marriott reached out to the manager, and let us know she was on her way to the hotel. When the manager got there, all she pretty much did was said she would fix it and no more charges were going to appear on our cards. She said she would also call our banks and tell them to release the pending charges, etc. The employee at the front desk also took a stab at me and started yelling at me, saying it was my fault for her mistakes. The manager just stood there, watching her employee yell at a customer and placing blame on me. It was unbelievable, I wish I would have recorded the interaction. I was livid! I spent almost six hours trying to fix this mess, I got little to no sleep, and had to drive two hours to the airport on icy conditions the next morning. A week and a half later, the pending charges finally got released. Then, after almost two weeks, I get charged for the room. What a terrible experience. After all the trouble, the room should have been paid for by the hotel. That's the least they could have done after everything they put me through. My bank account was depleted with all the pending charges. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone and will let my employer know never to use this hotel again. Poor customer service, crappy hotel, crappy breakfast (really, no breakfast or food available), and poor management. Stay away!
