if you haven't dined at Tinker Street, wryd? i had the honor of attending their Hometown Hits five course dinner by Chef Tyler Shortt and Chef Ieasha Ennis -- and it was delicious! this dinner was soulfood-themed featuring dishes that both chefs grew up on with their families. Tinker Street truly treats everyone like family and that's what i admire most about this cozy spot -- aside from all the hardworking talent and incredible food! the team at Tinker did such a great job and the fact that they offered mocktails that paired perfectly with each dish... *chefs kiss*!! keep an eye out for upcoming events -- theyhost special dinners like this often and each menu is unique!!

Service was really good, on the ball. Glass was dropped and we watched 4 people kick into action to remove it without even saying anything to each other. It was cleaned and safe in like 40 seconds. Cute place with a tiny but mighty little bar. Exceptional cocktails and a thoughtfully crafted menu made for a fantastic evening. The Romero, a pork fat-washed whiskey cocktail, was the standout--rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced. They also had a special cocktail, the Uptown Girl, in honor of the Billy Joel concert that night. I can't recall the ingredients, but it was so good we ordered three. For appetizers, the Korean fried mushrooms were crispy and flavorful, with gochujang and pickled beets adding the perfect contrast to the richness.Dinner was just as impressive. The pork belly was fork-tender, deeply flavorful, and wonderfully hearty. The quail was another highlight, with an exceptional demi-glace that brought everything together beautifully. We had to dash to make the concert on time, so dessert will have to wait for next time--but we'll definitely be back.

Get here!Tinker Street is a quiet delight. Located just north of downtown Indy, it's perfectly positioned for a quiet night out. I love the indoor/outdoor seating options and the overall ambiance of the space. As we were seated, each diner was greeted with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine, and it really set the tone for the whole evening. I loved the variety on the menu, and was excited to see some vegetarian options offered. Our meal was delicious and the service was 10/10. I definitely recommend a visit.

We had an amazing meal at Tinker Street! I had the mushroom stroganoff and my partner had the pork belly. Both dishes were absolutely AMAZING. The small size of the restaurant makes for great ambiance. Our server was knowledgeable of the whole menu and had great recommendations. We will most definitely be back.

Continues to be in the upper echelon of places in Indianapolis to get a fantastic meal. A small size of the restaurant belies the large flavors that are found on the changing menu. Exemplary service as well. This is a must try

This is the coziest little neighborhood foodie spot. I love sitting on the porch in the summer and inside the teeny tiny dining room or bar in the winter. Start with the complimentary bubbles toast and then try something off their wonderful cocktail or wine list. Every time I go, everything is scrumptious and at least one dish totally wows me. Last time it was homemade pasta in broth I wanted to drink up and a sauce for scallops that was full of a unique rosemary flavor and just incredible. You have got to end with ricotta doughnuts! This is almost always my pick when I want a romantic and intimate date night.

This is officially my fav restaurant in town. Used to be Bluebeard but Tinker Street just cannot be beat. We came with a friend for her birthday and the three of us left full of delicious food, drinks and happiness. Our server was great. My mushroom stroganoff was mushroom forward in the best possible way, it made me say "got dammmn that's good" and that is no easy feat. Had a nibble of the hubs' scallops which were tender and delicious. Our friend got the squab and it was yummy and very juicy for a tiny bird. The place just has the homiest local feel. Never change Tinker Street!

I'm a regular in tinker street, but this last visit was their 10 year anniversary and boy was it a treat! They had new cocktails which were delightful! I had the Two Songs Interlude and loved it. I like drinks that are a little boozy with a hint of sweet and or sour and this made my tastebuds sing! But let's get to this 10th anniversary menu... my favorite by far was the tuna tataki and honestly I loved it so much that I mainly am making this post so that I can petition that they keep this on the menu like wow! Tuna lovers this is our dish! Okay now I did get something on the traditional menu just so I could try something I know could be there when I get back and that's the mushroom stroganoff... but do yourself a favor and add the steak... first of all... it's plenty of food for two! Or plenty of food for today and tomorrow and the flavors are enchanting. Like the mushroom stroganoff is an awesome dish on its own... but idk if I can ever order it without steak now! In closing I ordered a 10th anniversary special dessert which was the Paris Brest. So light and delicious! Which I needed a light dessert after all I had for dinner! If you are out of town, don't leave without trying tinker street! If you are in town, I promise you each visit is special!

Wish I would have done this review while it was fresh but better late than never. Slipped into this place last time I was downtown Indy. If you love food and can appreciate meals that are exceptionally paired this is the place! Was a little apprehensive at first but they had me with the first spoonful of soup. I was so taken back by the main course "pork belly" I asked to compliment the chef personally and he was happy to accommodate. The owner made us feel like family and was happy to do so. This hidden Gem deserved to be tasted! Go out of your way to check out Tinker Street because food cooked with love and passion is a dying art these days. Thank you for giving people like me hope. Excellent food and service still exists. Fortunately the only picture I have speaks 1,000 words.

I won a gift card at the Savor Indianapolis event and have been waiting for the right time to use it. This dining experience was incredible - the flavors of the food in these dishes took me on an emotional journey because of how good it all was. The flavors in these dishes were spectacular.I sipped on my friend's Banana Old Fashioned with 8th Day bourbon because he was kind enough to share - normally not an old fashioned gal but WOW, I could've finished that whole cocktail. Then the tough decision for what to eat came about and I went with the scallops. Almost brought tears to my eyes with how good it was. The scallops were tender, the risotto was creamy and filling with a nice bit of spice to it. A perfectly balanced dish that I will be thinking about for a long while. The chef really created a masterpiece with that one. For dinner I got the Banana Pudding. I used to live in Georgia and that was a staple so I had to try it here. It was thicker and more rich than I've had it elsewhere and I loved every bite. I wanted to lick the dish but I somehow restrained myself. Our waitress was wonderful as well and I enjoyed meeting the manager who was very friendly. The only downside is how close all of the tables are however it did add a communal spirit to this place. Definitely want to make this a once every few months treat myself spot!
