For starters, I have to admit that the ordering process over the phone was quite chaotic for this business. Somehow it seemed as if three different people were on the line from their end, and it was really hard to get the order across. They estimated about 25 minutes for the food and ended up being more like 50 minutes. I share this just to give you fair warning when you go to place your own order. The great news is, the food was super delicious and everything was in the bags. We ordered a variety of dishes, including fried tacos, Horchata, beans, and rice, plantains, with Crema, tamales, guacamole torta, and Pupusas. All were packed with flavor and delicious. I especially enjoyed their beans and plantain dishes. The restaurant and store were all bustling with customers grabbing groceries or having dinner in. The vibe is what you would find in many other Mexican, grocery stores around Indianapolis that have a restaurant tucked in the back corner. Definitely felt like a spot for regulars, and next time I would probably opt to eat in the restaurant versus carry out.

Great place that is convenient near everything on the East side. Great selection of staples in the supermarket at reasonable prices - check out all of the Latin hot sauces you normally have to go to Saraga or elsewhere in town to find.I had the standard charrasco plate. It was well seasoned, came with enough tortillas and a homemade sauce on the side. The horchata is made in-house like grandma used to make.

Food is actual really good the empanadas and popusas but man they take a long as time even if you order ahead. I placed an order they said 20 min arrived 25 min after and still waited for another 30-45 min gesh! If I would have known.

OMG what an amazing surprise to try this place!A little hidden and sketchy parking lot on East Washington Street but pretty great restaurant.I'd have to say that I didn't know our Guatemalan neighbors had such a tasty cuisine. This building shares a little grocery store along with the restaurant so there's people getting in and out all the time.I would have to say to be a little patient with the waitress she seemed understaffed and superbusy but she was super nice and my order came just as I wanted it.Since it was the first time and everything looked good I ordered an order of fried tacos, good but not the best I've tried; two pupusas, which is bascially a gordita filled with beans and the other one with pork; an order of garnachas, which was 6 sopes or thick tortillas topped with ground seasoned meat, onion and coleslaw; and one enchilada, which is a different thing from what anyone would expect, this is a tostada topped with meat and garnishments. Both their sauces and their sodas are tasty and after all this our check was $30 dollars was a pretty decent amount for such a nice dinner

Located inside the grocery store, there's a restaurant with mostly locals eating and families eating. Menu of the Day is provided, would help if you can read Spanish. Puposas are delicious and hearty, highly recommend! Shuocu Mix was mix of chopped hot dogs, chorizo, steak covered in slaw, mustard, ketchup and avocado all held together in a hot dog bun. Chille rellenos comes with a side of macaroni pasta, black beans, rice and tortillas. Each and every item was so good. So hearty and delicious!Everything we ordered really hit the spot. The place seems pretty authentic, hole in the wall but if you can look past that you get a chance to experience the heart and soul of Guatemalan food, not something I come across normally. It was definitely a great food experience. Drinks of grande size comes in a giant stein.

Pupusas we're really on point. They got all the classics, Chicharron, Revueltas, Loroco, Chicken con Jalapeño. Crispy and cooked really well. These were some of the best Pupusas I have had. Curtido flavor was great. Salsa good too. Will be back forsure!

Excellent place. If you want authentic Guatemalan food, check out this place. There is also a grocery store attached to that has a lot of items that are very commonly sold in Guatemala and Central America. The service is friendly and the menus are available in English and Spanish!
