I love going to Tibbs in both the summer and early fall. Even on a hot day, it's nice and cool by the time the movie starts. I love that I'm able to bring my own food in addition to the huge selection of concessions they have. I always bring a couple snacks and get something sweet at the concession. This is such a fun and inexpensive place to spend the evening with friends

Car living humans! Hear me! Need to reset? Mental health off? Sad? Grieving loss of your tribe? Jobless? Got a few bucks? Go rest at Tibbs. Cheap, and you will thank me.

My husband and I stopped in the first weekend of August to watch Trap / Watchers. Despite us living on Indy's west side for the last 7 years, I had never been to Tibbs before and he hadn't been since he was a kid. He said the concessions building was exactly the same as he remembered it. It was so fun and like a blast from the past with the way it was set up and decorated. We got a large popcorn, funnel fries, a cheeseburger, a tenderloin, and 2 root beer floats. The popcorn was great, the root beer floats were amazing, and the cheeseburger brought back fond memories of school lunches. Neither of us really liked the funnel fries and my husband wished he had ordered a cheeseburger like I did instead of the tenderloin. Everything was super reasonably priced and I'm glad we supported the concessions vs bringing a pizza. Both M. Night Shyamalan movies were really fun and it was a great date night spot. The only downside is that it was incredibly hot (early August, so to be expected) and my husband had to keep the driver's side windows up almost all of Trap because the car next to us had 2-3 kids that talked very loudly the entire movie. This really limited air flow for the first movie and it was uncomfortably hot in the car. The family next to us did not stay for Watchers, so we rolled all the windows down once they left and the temp cooled down drastically and it was lot more enjoyable. We can't wait to come back, but we are waiting for it to get a little bit cooler.

Thursday night during a school week at the drive in... what a treat! Not busy, plenty of parking and no lines at concessions!!!Great pizza, delicious popcorn and you can even grab a hotdog/hamburger if you're hungry! Been coming here over 30 yrs, it's definitely not the same but still a good timeOnly problem is you can't watch a dark movie as it's hard to see and it always smells like weed:(

I had not been to Tibbs Drive-In for a long time. One thing that is nice is there are different screens to choose from. Each screenplay two movies. If you're going to visit the concession stand, be ready to wait in line at least 30 to 45 minutes. There are a lot of options and everything was decently priced. The restrooms are also located inside of the concession area.It would be nice if they did some thing about all the gravel and dirt. Would Chip and seal be possible? I'm grateful for this location and a fairly economical entertainment option in Indy.

Tibbs Drive-In is an awesome outdoor movie experience with a nostalgic touch. I think there is something really special about watching movies under the night sky. You can watch from your car or sitting outside in chairs. Just be prepared for a long line to get in if you don't arrive early.

Classic drive-in theater! My husband's colleague recommended it for the experience and for the food. We purchased tickets online in advance, but you can also purchase them on site. Friendly staff greets you and provides a garbage bag (no excuses to make a mess!) and an informational sheet on their policies, which station to tune into, etc. There are 4 screens, each play 2 or 3 movies per night. It's a pet-friendly venue. You can bring your own food and drinks, BUT consider supporting the concession instead. Traditional food (hot dog, burgers, pizza, popcorn and the like) but delicious and affordable. We will absolutely return. So glad to know this drive-in is here!

We were in line for a good 30m. I would recommend all hands on deck. Two attendants should be working the booth for faster service entering the theater. Once we got in we couldn't find a place to park. I made a spot. We missed at least half of the movie because of the long line. Yes, I left in enough time to at least spare 15m. The movie was good. Next time, I'll try to get there earlier.

I had an amazing overall experience here at Tibbs. It is an easy and fun activity for a date or going out with family. I arrived 30 minutes early and recommend arriving 20-40 minutes early just so you can set up, get a good spot, and get in the concession line(because the line gets long fast). I will definitely be going again soon.

Super fun and retro. This was my first drive-in, here's some tips from one newbie to another: -If you're bringing kids to a kid movie, plan for them to be IN the car. The other screens are clearly visible from your spot and show stuff for grownups. -Plan for mosquitos. Nana knew from her childhood to bring little citronella candles in holders for inside and around the car, plus bug spray. -Bring some painters tape or something for the tiny runner lights inside the car that you can't turn off. Or just check out your car before you go. -The concessions stand is awesome. Funnel cake fries, soft serve, fresh sliced apples with hot caramel sauce, tons of meal options including grilled chicken sandwiches,- and it's all really reasonable. Three of us had dinner and dessert for like $32.
