THIS PLACE HAS RATS Okay so the rent price is cool but you can't make payments after rent has been posted you have to pay the price in full, it goes up five dollars a day if you don't pay it. I thought that was all that needed to be posted until I went to a court hearing and this man who lived here too moved out before his lease was up because RATS WERE COMING THROUGH HIS WALLS now at first I thought he might be dirty but then he let me know that the woman below him also had a rat problem and that they lived deep in the complex near all the wooded areas.

The worst apartments ever! Please do not waste your hard earn money into these apartments. Rent is high the quality Is POOR. It took them 2 months to fix my water heater in the winter, my hallway light went off ( due to electrical problem) 3 months later no one has come to fix it. I have mold on my window they haven't done anything about it. Now my toilet is not properly flushing and it's backing up into my Tub since Sunday it is happening to other tenants as well. It's a broken pipe that no one has come to fix. It's very disappointing to have to pay so much money and have these complications. Stay away stay away.!

I've lived in other apartment complexes, but none of them compare to The Woods of Eagle Creek. Sure, you'll always have stupid people around who do stupid things, but the apartment complex as a whole is fantastic! It is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and maintenance kicks butt! My A/C broke last summer (it was just really old) and they had a new one in place within 90 minutes of my phone call. Pretty impressive if you ask me!They are also on top of preventative maintenance, which I've never seen before. They come out to clean furnace/air filters, repaint facades, repair porches and fences, check fire extinguishers, and test smoke detectors. To top it all off, they are cost efficient! If you are looking for a place near 65 and 465, stop in to check them out!

I've lived here for a year and just renewed my lease. I have found management to be sincere, extremely professional and friendly, and I have been impressed with the efficient, hardworking maintenance staff. The property is beautiful, and quiet (spoiled occasionally by inconsiderate people, but residents have recourse to an after-hours courtesy officer who will investigate disturbance complaints). Rules are quite strict (which is good), but not stupid - you are allowed to actually live here, have pets, wash or work on cars, etc. Pool is great, it seems to be a safe place for kids to play - enjoy the old-fashioned community feel of kids in the park in the evenings, or riding their bikes around; people walking dogs. Several long-term residents have made their apartment balconies and gardens look nice - I hope more good neighbors move in because that will ensure that the Woods remains a great place to call home.

The quality of this complex has gone down drastically. The staff will say anything to get you out of their hairs. The plumbing is horrible, definitely not worth spending your money on.

Management is fantastic! Until they have your signature on the lease. Then they morph from "Happy to see you! How can I help?" to "Why the hell are you stopping by the office again?" The maintenance staff is generally nice and competent, they just take forever to get anything done. Went without a working bath/shower for a week before they came and fixed it. In the meantime, it leaked and ruined the living room ceiling. It was another week before that was fixed. Additionally, the appliances are old and not in great shape. Hard water is a fact of life in this complex because they can't be bothered to install water softeners.Inspections are conducted with little to no warning and the rules are selectively enforced. I received a notice about my blinds being damaged while the family down the street has had mangled blinds since I moved in. They ignore pet rules for some residents while strictly enforcing them for others.Jim is the man who showed us around and talked us into leasing from them. I haven't seen him since I signed the lease 6 months ago. What communication we do get from management is usually a barrage of letters encouraging us to recommend their apartments. And finally, I thought that the number of hoops I had to jump through meant their standards for renters were fairly high. I was wrong. Despite the constant intrusions into the apartments by management, they still haven't seemed to notice the noxious clouds of pot smoke billowing from my neighbor's windows, and they have yet to respond to my repeated calls about this neighbor's constant 5 minute visits from "friends" in the middle of the night. City police won't do anything, and I'm sick of the smell.I can't speak for all Gene B. Glick properties, but do not rent here!

OK, there is good and there is bad about this place. 1. The neighbors on either side of you are pretty well insulated and therefore you do not hear any noise from them.2. Maintenance usually repairs problems promptly and without problems.3. Easy access to the main roads and close to the interstate. The bad however just simply annoying1. When you submit a maintenance request, if the person dispatched can't solve the problem, he will tell you that someone else will come back to finish the job. On multiple occasions this has happened and the person never came back or had someone else come to finish the work. so I have to place another call to the office and wait a short while to get the problem fixed.2. The "courtesy" office doesn't always respond. A short while ago, one of the big trees out front was on fire/smoking. (I think some complex kids were screwing around with matches/fireworks). I saw then trying to put it out by stomping on it and I even saw one of them drag a garden hose to the tree. I called the courtesy officer to report it and no follow up was received.3. The office seems to think they can send you a bill for services rendered even though you didn't ask for the services to be performed. You can complain and they will remove the bill from your account, but they act like they are doing you a favor by removing a bogus charge in the first place.4. If you want to go on a month to month lease, the increase in the monthly fee is absolutely outrageous. 5. They also have no idea about the laws of leasing apartments. They seem to think they can change a policy whenever they want and you have to follow it, even if it's contrary to your lease. Sorry, but the lease controls, not your policies that are not included in the lease. Bring this to their attention and they back down, but they still act as if they are doing a favor for you.Over all I have been satisfied with my stay at the place, but some of the small things they do are just annoying as all hell.
