This is the best complex I've lived in and our first home since moving to Fishers from Southern California. The apartments are nice, the staff is attentive, and the facilities are always maintained. They salt the walk-ways in advance of snow storms and always keep up the landscaping. This place is run by pro's. But of all the things I like about Woods of Britton it is the maintenance crew. While our apartment was always in good shape, we have had minor issues along the way. They have always fixed or replaced things that weren't working and they arrive the same day or next day. You really cannot ask for more than what these folks do for us.

Woods of Britton apartments is like an oasis in the suburbs. It was built on an old farm so there are hundreds of old, large trees and shade. The maintenance staff is super nice and does a great job. I lived there for 4 years and never had a major maintenance problem and any work order I put in was completed within 24 hours. They are larger apartments because they are older, but don't let the age deter you, they have been upgrading apartments and the whole community is kept up beautifully. I left because I bought a house for aging parents, otherwise, I would have stayed there. Great pool and amenities. Leasing staff has been there for years and are super friendly and you are always greeted with a smile.

Great complex with a friendly staff. No major issues or complaints with neighbors or the unit we lived in. Clean, quiet and convenient. Only complaint were the short-lease rates. The part of the complex we lived in feature tall trees with plenty of shade. Not too common in most apartment complexes. Grocery, gas, and food all within 1-minute of the complex. Three shopping malls within 10-20 minutes too. If for whatever reason I had to downsize and move back into an apartment, WoB would be my choice.

This is a great apartment complex. I've never had a problem with staff or maintenance issues. I had a leak running into my kitchen on a Sunday and the maintenance man on call returned my call immediately and was willing to come and repair it. It ended up being ok and could wait until monday, but this is a great example of how the staff is always willing to help. The atmosphere and surroundings are awesome...old trees, lots of shade, ponds...a great place to live if you're looking for an apartment on the north side of Indy.

Best place I ever lived! Front office ladies were always friendly and prompt with any questions. Maintenance was very prompt and did great work. Always having resident parties and gave us a chance to meet others in the neighborhood. Only moved to buy a house.

During our time living at Woods of Britton, we would have said we had few complaints aside from cost. However, post move out, dealing with the Woods of Britton has been hell. Our new place had issues with mail delivery (a package that was noted as returned to sender on August 6th, 2012, ended up being delivered four months later), and much of our mail ended up being lost, never returned to sender. However, upon a phone conversation with Mary in the office, the Woods of Britton makes it a PRACTICE to only send out ONE notice post move out of any charges that are due on the account. So, imagine our surprise, when four months later we get a collections call from a very rude and offensive collections agency. The woman did not introduce herself or provide her company name after being asked to repeat the name after her first introduction was mumbled and incoherent. I called the Woods of Britton to confirm the name of the agency they used, so that this could be dealt with, and Mary refused to provide the name. She was more than happy to provide the same unworking number that we had already been given. Overall, great living there, lovely location (though traffic is horrible), and the neighbors are nice. However, the rent increase that made us move should have been an indication that the Woods of Britton did not deal fairly with their requests for money. The lack of notification of an outstanding balance is proof of this.

So good so far. Staff was friendly and helpful. Maintenance request was handled in a timely fashion. Quiet place to live and not bad on the price. Hopefully the enjoyment continues until next year.

I have lived here for 8 months. I had a notice my first month that I owed $5 for paying late. I took my lease in and they said that it was an error on their part. I was ok with this response. However, after getting a notice that I owed $70 this month. I noticed that they had processed my account for the wrong amount even when I had paid the correct amount ( it was sent to my bank for 55 less than I wrote it for) When I went to go talk to them about it, Mary Frye, who does the books said i owed the $70. Then said that there was another error of charging $5 dollars last month that she would take care of, but I owed $65 for the remaining rent for the month. I ask her to clarify why I was being asked to pay $10 for doing nothing, but pay my rent online. She became irratated that I was asking this question and telling her that I only owed $55. I wrote a check for that amount and I am waiting to hear from the property manager. The lack of professionalism that Ms. Frye demonstration dampens the good apartments and upkeep that I have experienced here.
