The Willows was my nephew's recommendation for local breakfast while we visited. It's quaint and small, but clean, well-lit, and the staff is friendly. I felt I could relax and melt away for the time we were there. The menu looked delicious, top to bottom, and it would be ideal to have more time to try it all. We had a fantastic and filling breakfast, and when we ever visit again, it's at the top of my list to return! Maybe even during hours where we might hit the bar side to kick back.

Love this place. Been going here for a few years and food is always excellent. Meme is an amazing cook owner and sever. Her pies are to die for and her love of the place shows everywhere. A need to try if you are in the area. Best of luck and hope to see you here for years to come.

Always consistent Food and drinks are always good and the prices are decent. I've only ever been on the bar side. They have a great shuffleboard. Also a pool table and a pickleball court during season.

We love The Willows. This place is definitely a dive and you should expect that going in. It has an old-timey diner feel with the occasional staff drama... but the food is so well priced and everything we have ever ordered was delicious.

The food was AMAZING. If I could eat here everyday, I would without a doubt. The service was great and our food did not take long.

The food here is excellent. The country fried steak melted in my mouth. Their chips are homemade. This restaurant is better than any big name restaurant

My first time here and I was so disappointed. After hearing how great it was I could have saved my money and gone elsewhere. I do have to say they've done a good job with the social distancing and mask glove wearing with staff and the place is very clean. They seem to follow all the CDC guidelines as well. I will also say the staff of friendly and suffer thru happily wearing those hot masks. With that said they have two people working the entire place and on this day only one cook. It was a Saturday at 11 am. The breakfast times just ended and the lunch menu just started. It was still busy with guests but most were finished with their plates or almost done. They were about 5 new tables that I could see. The bar had one person waitressing and the bartender. It took 10' for us to be greeted by anyone (it's a seat yourself place). After we placed our drink order it too another 10' for her to come back and take our order. We ordered appetizers but chose to have them delivered with our meal because we were nervous about her coming back. The food order which was jalapeño coins, nachos, cheese quesadilla, and bacon cheese fries took 35 min!! Yikes. She delivered our food and the bacon cheese fries were warm and the shredded cheese scarce and not melted, Thick chunks of bacon sat ontop. It was a small portion and not worth the $7. The nachos were cold and served ontop of a plate covered in aluminum foil. That's weird. The cheese quesadilla also had issue. Being very small the cheese wasn't melted either and looked like a child size serving. It was served with salsa out a jar which lacked flavor and sour cream lettuce on the side. Not a good portion for the $8 it cost. Nachos had the same salsa and sour cream on the side and offered the dish zero flavor. The ground beef wasn't seasoned cheese want melted and the chips were cold. Very disappointing to the $12 it cost. The jalapeño coins probably lead the best tasting but it came with a side of sour cream. I would have preferred ranch or blue cheese but I'll take what they give me. Some were warm others cold none were hot. I like my food served hot. Our waitress never came back to check on us to see how it tasted, to ask if we needed refills on our iced teas or if we need anything else like boxes or even our check! I finally had to ask another waitress for all of that. She was more of our server than the other. She finally dropped our bill off and never came back to get the credit card. Again we had to ask the other server. Ridiculous. I wouldn't recommend this establishment nor would I go there again. This is just my opinion. I know several people who love it but o love you go for breakfast.

Awesome food! Great drink prices but unless you have a penis and you are sitting at the bar you get horrible service. Sat for 3 hours with 2 empty drinks and it wasn't even busy. Had to go up to the bar for our check because our server never came back. Disappointed in service for a place we love to eat and drink.

This review was written by my wife.Wing Quest - Week 8: This week's wing adventure took place in The Willows on Gump Rd, Huntertown. The Willows is kind of a Richards-looking place with one exception---there's a bar at one end! The restaurant itself is clean and efficient with a server who is very friendly and knows most of her clientele. The bartender does what one would expect. She tends to the bar patrons. Willows' wings come 6 to an order for $7.15. Hardier appetites can be satiated with 12 for $14.30, 18 for $21.45, or 50 for $51.99. Wings can be dressed in Mild, Medium, Hot, Suicide, Butter Garlic, Butter Cajun, Butter Garlic Cajun, The Willows Special, BBQ, Honey Mustard, Teriyaki, or Buffalo sauce. Willows' wings are large, but not the jumbo wings that sometimes come to the table less than done. These wings are crisp, tender, and juicy. They are not rubbed in spices or rolled in breading. They are just pure chicken with sauce on, the way wings are intended to be enjoyed. The Honey Mustard is a basic no-frills needed sauce. It's mild mustard and slight honey sweetness is a nice enhancement to the chicken. The Willows Special is a secret house-made sauce that is garlic heavy with a hint of sweetness, almost a finer version of Teriyaki. If you like a bit of heat the Hot sauce is for you. It's a very flavorful condiment that soaks through the crispy skin to marinate the meat and dance pleasantly on the tongue. If you like more that just a bit of heat, we suggest the Suicide sauce. It's got a beautifully unique flavor, almost like that of the musky-smoky Scorpion Pepper, but I have no clue what's really in it. I just know it's pretty darned good! This sauce has enough heat to bring a mist of sweat to the brow without lingering on the palate so long as to be with you for hours after. Overall, this trip on our quest was a true success. If wings aren't your thing The Willows offers daily specials and a wide variety of breakfast items, munchies, salads, sandwiches, burgers, wraps, baskets, ala carte servings, dinners, pastas, and flatbread pizza. In fact, I've got my eye on the Seafood Combo Plate (10 grilled shrimp, 2 butterfly shrimp, clam strips, and 2 homemade crab cakes). Keep on wingin' everyone! FYI: Full bar service is available. Fresh pies, cakes, and cheesecakes are served daily. The Willows is the 2nd eatery in 8 weeks of reviewing wings that provided wet naps and bone receptacles

We were treated horribly today! They refused to serve my 80 year old mother because they say she stiffed the waitress on a busy Sunday!! First of all we were loyal customers. Second of all we NEVER stiff a waitress!! We always leave AT LEAST 20 percent!! Third of all my mother was already sitting down and the waitress told her to get up!! The waitress made a scene and it was so embarrassing!! We are nice people. We thank our waitress when food is brought to the table. We always tip because we know restaurant work. We will NEVER go back to this place!!
