The Willard in Franklin is a cozy little spot bursting with charm and flavor! From the moment you walk in, the mouthwatering aroma of pizza and hot wings pulls you in and sets the stage for a fantastic dining experience. The seat-yourself setup can be a bit of a challenge during busy times, but the vibrant atmosphere more than makes up for it.I decided to try their Bahama Mama, which arrived frozen and white--a surprising twist! While it wasn't what I expected, the flavor was spot on and refreshing. The food overall was fantastic; their dishes are clearly made with care. My burger was juicy and flavorful, though I did encounter a larger piece of gristle--an understandable hiccup in an otherwise great meal.This little gem is definitely worth a visit if you're in Franklin. The food, the ambiance, and that irresistible smell make it an experience you won't soon forget!

I like the Willard in Franklin and the food is decent and service is good. I dont know why its not a 5 star review but this is good food, served simple and fairly tasty. My pizza was warm and my wifes burger was not too bad.. I guess my feeling is that the restaurant is not appealing and that somehow dims my view. Its a theater night so expected busy and that did not help the situation.

Went to the Williard yesterday around 3:00 pm. Sign said seat yourself so we did! Took a few minutes to get asked about drinks which was fine then waited for waitress to return to place order, first we ask to nutritional information and the waitress look at is like we had 4 eyes ... we have a Diabetic 1 with us and need to know ... no response ... should have walked out right then but no we dealt with it as best we could! My son got the pulled pork sandwich which looked good however the bun was all soggy on the bottom, asked for a new bun, she brought one but it was like the bottom of the bag and would not stay together! I got the pork tenderloin which was good and our diabetic got a nacho pizza which she said was excellent! Service was crappy! Do better !!! Get nutritional information and until you do we wont return!

This is a neat spot to go and have a meal in Downtown Franklin. The service was good and service was good too. The food was served quickly and everything tasted good. We had sandwiches and sides. I'd come back possibly and try dinner some time in the near future.

Two days after the New Year we celebrated a birthday luncheon in Franklin. My sister, the birthday girl, had selected this bar and grill in downtown Franklin. I understand that the building had been an old hotel and is host to a certain "ghost". Our table of six were expertly served by a friendly and very efficient server. He was friendly and funny but serious when recommending menu items. First, I can not believe that the quality of food costs so little. They are known for their chicken wings and pizza. I selected the in bone wings with sweet chili sauce and wow were they amazing, I will go back for pizza because my mouth watered with the pie that was delivered to a table near us. Their wings are well above average in the size normally served. The burgers and taco salads ordered by members of our party were so large and enjoyed .

I loved the atmosphere. It's casual and clean. There is TONS of seating indoor and outdoor. The staff was nice and food was quick. The prices were also so affordable. HALF of what it would cost elsewhere.

**Beware: This Place Gave Me Food Poisoning!**I wish I could give this place ZERO stars. I ordered the wings here, and it was the worst decision I've ever made. A few hours after eating, I was throwing up every hour, like clockwork, all night long. It got so bad that I had to call an ambulance and go to the ER, where they confirmed I had *salmonella* from the wings!I can't believe a restaurant would be this careless about food safety. The experience was absolutely horrific. I had to endure hours of severe nausea, vomiting, and dehydration, not to mention the costly ER visit. It took days to recover from this nightmare. Please, if you value your health, avoid this place at all costs!

Stopped in at The Willard with my girlfriend this evening and we left rather unsatisfied. The service was fairly mediocre - but to cut them some slack it was fairly busy. One major bummer about this place is how packed in the tables are. Made for a very crowded feel and was very noisy. Felt like we were eating a meal with everyone in the restaurant.The food was also pretty middle of the line, mediocre. It wasn't bad but nothing really wowed us. Granted - we shared an appetizer, a 12 inch specialty pizza, and boneless wings and the total bill was $45. Relatively cheap pricing but the price definitely reflects the quality of the food. The boneless wings were the highlight of the meal because the hot barbecue sauce was pretty solid. I did want to note that the food did come out pretty quickly and we didn't have too long of a wait on our food.We were in the area and decided to give it a try, but personally would not come out of my way to try it again and would likely go with another option in the future. Good option if you're looking for a cheap bite to eat, if thinking about stopping in for date night or a special occasion I'd look at other options.

Neat little spot in downtown Franklin. The building itself is really unique and interesting, and the food is good - maybe not the best in town, but just fine for dinner. Service was a little lacking on my last two visits - may be because there isn't a host/hostess and you seat yourself, so maybe they're just not sure who's taking what or when someone new shows up. Kind of an odd setup on that front.I really think the atmosphere here is the big sell, which I'm not sure is necessarily the best thing for a restaurant.
