Let me be TRANSPARENT since the leasing office won't be. They completely misled me with false marketing and information. I toured the renovated Hickory floor plan in a nice facility building just to finish the application process and received a unit completely different. I was in the process of moving in and had a short amount of time to find a place. They took advantage of my situation by making promises they had no intention of keeping. 1. The apartment was nothing like they described, and the amenities they advertised were only free during office hours but are an added on monthly pricey Fee ($65) for after hours. The rent is cheap but don't let that FOOL you, there are a variety of hidden fees that the leasing office won't mention. Activation fees ($10) , lapse fee ($50) , locked out fees ($50), lost key fee ($5) , lost key fob fee ($50), visiting pet fee ($250), Pet waste fee ($100 per pile), Nameless utility account fee ($75 plus), Trash disposal fee, Lock change fee, etc..2. I finished my application paying $50 in application fee and $300 for security deposit, or so it says on the resident utility sheet. Come to find out the security deposit wasn't actually security deposit but a non-refundable holding fee. False marketing and very misleading, on the resident utility sheet it states Security deposit: $300-$2,500 (depends on credit check). Does not mention anything about a holding fee or that it is non-refundable. When completing the application process it shows a monetary report for future charges, showing me the amount balance due at move-in which totaled to be $488.42. Only to find out in person that the amount due at move in is actually $1,401.3. The unit I was going to receive had no updated renovations and had poor lighting/ light fixtures, not updated wire racks, painted over light switches and did not have a full sized fridge. I brought all these matters and more to their attention, only to be told they won't be doing anything about it except try to "accommodate" for the fridge size. Leasing office made me feel like they are accommodating something that should have been set up from the start. AGAIN misleading and false adverting. They acted like they were doing me a favor by fixing their own mistake. They have no intent of switching it out unless you call them out, They claim they will only replace it if the tenant says something about it before move in. And that's if they actually replace it in a timely manner.Leasing office is all smiles and friendly until you are bound to the lease. I tried to get straight answers and clarification, but they kept giving me the runaround. In the end, I couldn't trust a single word they said, and I chose not to go forward with the lease. I wasted time, energy, and money because of their dishonest practices. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place. They are dishonest, unprofessional, and only care about getting your money, not about providing decent service or accurate information.

We have lived here at these apartments since March last year , we just renewed for another year. These apparment like .any have issues here and there, but the difference is how the staff handles it here. The property manager Nicole handles problems as soon as it is brought to her attention, the leasing staff is sincere, proper, and kind even handling the rudest of people. The maintenence manager steve runs this place like a home of his own employing the best he sees fit for the roles here and making sure his guys get the jobs done right the first time. The floor plan layouts are beautiful but make sure you double check it not a disabled layout in your unit you choose because they have no idea until someone moves out what the layout was either normal or disabled. The utilities aren't high either one side of the complex is all electric and the other is gas and electric. The u its have beautiful fire places that burn real wood too. They have a washer and dryer and a great pool in summer and built a new dog park for those of you he might need use of it.Security coom on hallways with key fobs are the best too no unwanted people coming In and out unless you invite them. Do over all worth 5 stars other people have problems we have had our share but this is not worth taking a star away for there top customer service and hospitality from the staff here.

Resident from 08/21 to 11/22 . This is a nice community, quiet and the property is halfway decent. Everyone in the office is decent as well. Now if your car gets broken into as well, which it will, because 2 of my 4 vehicles were hit in two different areas, at different times they're gonna let you know it's not their problem. They've got money for upgrades but they won't install cameras and or a security guard. Instead they ask the community to be the watchful eye, because after all the money you pay it's also your responsibility to make sure the vehicles in the property aren't getting broken into haha. If you purchase a garage like I did, water is gonna get in it. That's also where all the raccoons live at, so your car and or storage boxes will have damaged on them as well. Basically, for how much you're gonna pay for your apartment to come home to every day, find a better community where you can have a good night sleep, without being worried about your property being stolen and or broken into.

I usually don't review living spaces because everybody will have a different experience but this was too infuriating to let slide by. DO NOT MOVE HERE. The rental team is terrible and they are thieves. I moved out in 2015 and moved back in, in 2019. Due to some living issues that wasn't their fault I moved out in July. It is now November and while looking for another place wouldn't you know it all of a sudden I owe them money from 2017! How strange, especially since I moved back into the complex this year without hearing anything about any past due balance. They're not helpful and had no explanation on how I was able to move back into their property with an outstanding balance. 0/10 do not recommend unless you want a headache two years down the line.

We have been living here for seven years now. I haven't encountered any issues other than the basic maintenance. Which they are very quick to fix. The Lakeview is awesome the ducks come up to your hands and you can feed them. And the office staff is very knowledgeable and helpful if there's any issues or problems you might have. It's so convenient to everything. I really enjoy it here.

Office staff has no clue whats going on, will give information one day then change it the next. Often phone calls or emails go unanswered. Appliances are older and "unfixable". Maintenance came out to fix issues and made it worse or had to come out to do the job again. We were told mildew buildup in the sink was normal, and they didn't fix it. The garbage disposal wasn't working, "fixed", then spewed raw sewage water out of the dish washer onto the floor and carpets. Dryer vent was clogged with lint so instead of cleaning it out the dryer was disconnected from the wall, which then steamed up the laundry closest.

I hate leaving bad reviews but this needs to be said. I wouldn't recommend living here to anyone. The price is semi decent for the apartment size and there are several fast food/convenient stores nearby but those are the only things I enjoyed about living here. My apartment itself was disappointing. The kitchen cabinets/drawers didn't open or close properly. Dishwasher leaked all the time. Furnace stopped working in the middle of the winter. Carpet quickly became dingy looking. Paint job was sloppy, patio was falling apart, hallway & sidewalk wasn't maintained (trash laying around), and those are just a few of the minor things. Here are my BIG issues:- The office lost my August rent money and insisted I pay it again. THEY misplaced MY money order and charged me late fees until they had their money, despite the fact it was their responsibility to keep track of it. When I refused to pay it again they hired a lawyer to evict me (which I later had to pay for as well). We ended up coming to an agreement but it took close to 4 MONTHS and the office was very rude and uncooperative about it. Such and incredibly frustrating experience and I wasn't the only resident this happened to.- The pool was closed 75% of the time. This may seem minor to someone who doesn't care about a pool but I feel it reflects how unprofessional and unorganized their establishment is. I personally adore summers by the pool which is why I was excited to have easy access to one. Unfortunately their pool was constantly closed for long periods of time due to it not meeting health code requirements. There were countless days I'd rush home from work, get my lunch and swim stuff together, walk over to the pool just to find it was closed down. Again. I can see this being frustrating for families with young kids as well. - I paid $75 for 24 hour gym access and it was often unavailable. Once again, a situation where I'd get my workout stuff on and walk over to the gym just to find the doors were locked due to maintenance or roof leaking. - It was always VERY difficult to reach the office over phone and staff hardly ever returned my calls- even it was something important. There were also times I'd try to visit during office hours and the doors would randomly be locked. Just poor communication in general. Overall, I wish I had known information like this before making my decision to move here. Hopefully they make some major improvements here very soon. Hope this helps someone.

They were extremely helpful with setting my partner and i up. This is our first apartment on our own so we are still learning and growing and the leasing office has been extremely helpful since day one. They are all very kind and extremely understanding. My partner and I quiet literally almost burned the place down because we didn't know how to properly open the fire chute, we had paperwork to fill out the next day and asked the leasing office what to do and they were very helpful with exposing how to properly use the fireplace! Id recommend this place to college students, or anyone to be honest :)

One of the worst places to live. They do not care about public safety. We got robbed like three times and the office people didn't even try to put out a letter warning residents. They will over charge you on rent. Ours was 1280 and after a year they wanted $1586 and that's just ridiculous. They claim to be family friendly but they aren't they will smile in your face and take what little money you have. They kept our deposit and we left that apartment spotless and they still over charged us for stuff we didn't even do. We lived at 3211 chadwood apartment 1D we were friendly and the neighbors knew us as good people. Olivia Dunlap tried to say we didn't give notice to vacate when we did and then charged us another $910 for it. These people are money hungry and do not care about your safety or livelyhood. I tried working with them but they completely messed us over. And now are trying to say they didn't receive one of our payments in the mail so since I know you see these reviews go ahead and set it up with collections tired of being messed over by you people.
