I went here with my daughter and my seven-year-old grandson. It is called The Treehouse. It is located at Plainfield Christian Church. It is at the children's center. Door 5 around back. There only open on Tuesdays and Thursdays 9 to 11 and 1 to 3. For children ages 2 to 12 years old. When entering you have to check in at the kiosk or the front desk. The place that looks like a large treehouse with two different floors, three slides, and plenty of things to do within the treehouse. The top level with the two big slides are for kids 5 and up Because you have to climb a ladder to get to the second level. There is an area for the kids under two to play with all kinds of toys. Lots of things for kids to play on and play with such as a kitchen with all the fixing grocery carts that seem to be the most popular area. Also, there was a book rack that you could sit down and read a book and comfortable chairs and couches with large Ottomans. Blocks and small basket ball hoop. There is also a kitchen so parents you can get you a cuppa coffee or water or hot chocolate and watch your kids play. They also have snacks for the little ones, there is a refrigerator. The bathroom is in the same area so no leaving the room.

It's great! While it is a little smaller than the other indoor playgrounds it has a lot to offer. There is ample parking, kiosks to check everyone in, a large open area with lots of parent seating leading to the treehouse structure. There are bathrooms and a kitchen stocked with free coffee, hot cocoa, snacks, and a fridge. As well as the structure they have a lot of coop cars to ride, a pretend kitchen, small toys to play with, and coloring pages. My pre k kids spent two hours here easy!

This is another gem that parents in Indy need on their radars. The hours are a little difficult to work around with our own nap schedules but when we're able to stop by, it's definitely worth it. There is a lovely playground at the front but aside from that there are a lot of little play areas, like a kitchen, car ramps, legos, etc. for kids to play at. There's even a baby area with a gate.A small kitchen area is available where you can make a cup of coffee or grab some water. Oh, and it's completely free!I will note that it was pretty busy and that because of the layout, it was hard for me to keep an eye on my kid but these are not deterrents - just something to mentally prepare for before going.

Another great indoor playground in the Indy area! The Treehouse Indoor Playground is located inside the Plainfield Christian Church, and to get to it, you have to enter at door #5, which is around the back part of the church. The people who volunteer here are super friendly and helpful. We felt very welcomed to play and explore, even though we were not members of the church. The best part of this indoor playground is that it's free! The indoor playground is named "The Treehouse" because it has a giant treehouse play structure in the middle (aptly named, right?). Kids can climb it, hide in the little nooks and slide down the slides. To get to the top part of the treehouse and access the larger slides, kids need to climb up a ladder, so for safety's sake, only kids 5 years and older are allowed in the upper parts.Aside from the treehouse, there are little stations set up with different kinds of toys and manipulatives, such as Duplo blocks, LEGO, a little kitchen, a race car track, a train track, and more. There are also bikes and Big Wheels available to ride around the huge, open, light-filled room. There are lost of comfortable couches and chairs available for the parents and caregivers to sit and watch kids run around. You can pretty much see your kid from wherever you sit, so that's nice. There's a kitchen available with water and free coffee, too! If you bring snacks with you, you're allowed to eat them in the seating/couch area, but you can't take them up to the treehouse itself. The Treehouse hours of operation are very specific and limited: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. I wish it were open a few more days, but I guess I can't be too picky when this awesome playspace is open to the public for free.

I can't say enough good things about the Treehouse! I moved to Indianapolis from out of the state in April with a 2.5 year old and newborn. I knew absolutely no one but wanted to get to know our new community and meet people. After a quick google search, this place showed up. A few details to know: they're open on Tuesdays and Thursday from 9-11 am and 1-3 pm. You complete an online waiver on their website and that's all you need- it's completely free and you just show up during the time frame that works best for you.The place is immaculately clean, brand new, has the most welcoming staff and offers free coffee to parents/caregivers. Say whatttt?! There's an actual playground with slides, ladders etc. but then there are tons of other great toys and tricycles etc. There's even a section for smaller children that's blocked off. It's a wide open space so you never lose sight of your little ones and can actually enjoy your hot coffee while sitting on their comfortable seats. The bathrooms are great, too. They even have a kid sized sink and step stools. We so love and appreciate the Treehouse. It's been a staple in our weekly schedule and I've made several friends as well, one that happens to live in my neighborhood. The Treehouse has definitely made me feel more settled in our new community and I so appreciate it!
