Amazing amount of designer labels at bargain prices at the Tog. And because I had consignment credit it cost me $10 for 6 pieces
1 sweater, 3 (1 new with tags) shirts, 1 dress, 1 new with tags VS bra, and 1 Yves Saint Laurent bag $20.33! I love The Toggery!
Designer clothes for days
Fur lined ballet flats!
Alice + Olivia, Splendid, Parker, and Joie pieces from the Toggery
Scored this Marc Jacobs wallet for $16 with the $178 tag on it. I've gotten so many gently used deals including a Burberry coat.
So I went a little overboard.
Sweet Gucci!

Oh the places you'll go! I'm sitting here on vacation drinking my coffee early morning in my tank top I got for $3 from the Toggery. This place is the best! We came here on a sleepy Saturday afternoon and hit the jackpot because they were having a sidewalk sale with very nice prices. I walked away with Talbots, Athleta, Rock and Republic, Free People on clearance and splurged on a Lululemon sweatshirt for full price (still under $40 so no complaints there). Not only are the prices great but this store will make any organized persons heart sing! Amazing organization and flow of the store, kudos Toggery! I will be making another trip here next time in the Broadripple area.

I love thrifting and I'm good at it - it's true . I went to The Toggery, I think, a long time ago. On Saturday I was in the Broadripple area on a hike. Since I was in the area I decided to stop by and check it out again after so much much time. I walked in, they were not very busy, and only 3 others shopping. I believe there were 3 people working. I didn't receive a greeting and the way the store is arranged; a greeting is VERY EASY and an obvious way to conduct/promote business. The store was neat, tidy and organized. I looked throughout the store and only found one item that enticed me to pull out and look at. They were a denim Capri type pant - cute but too expensive imo. On a positive note they had some great high end designer shoes in the glass cases I thought were well priced - none my size. Parking is ample. Location is accessible. Pricing overall a bit high considering styles and brands. And imo a greeting or some sort of interaction would go a long way.

I found some designer jeans here for $50 that usually sell for about $200, and they are my favorite go-to jeans, so that's cool. At first, I was a little disappointed in The Toggery because it seemed like the clothes were just a half step up from a regular Goodwill, but then I found the jeans, and now I'm not so sure. I think it all depends on when you shop, and what you're looking for. If you're looking for unusual vintage gems, you probably won't find that here. If you're looking for regional-trendy clothing ... you will probably find that here. I visited on a Saturday afternoon, and the racks seemed a little picked-through, but I think that's because this place is popular and so the racks probably were indeed picked through. They buy clothing during the weekdays, so if you want to find the good stuff, you should probably visit during the week, I'm thinking. The clothing is arranged very nicely, and everything is super organized and clean. They have dressing rooms available that you can just walk into (you don't have to flag down someone!), and they also have sale items that are pretty good. Like most consignment shops, they don't accept returns or exchanges, so make sure you're happy with your items before you purchase!

First time popping in here and I found so many great fall items! I've been trying to shop more sustainably and a friend recommended this as one of the best consignment shops in Indianapolis. I can see why! Many higher end brands at affordable prices - I found things from Free People, Anthropologie, Skull Cashmere and others. Getting so many compliments on my purchases and thinking of making this a quarterly stop before each new season.

There's just something about extending the useful life of material goods that gives me such a high. I've been meaning to go to The Toggery for awhile and now that I finally have, I am HOOKED. I've had pretty good luck at each visit, particularly with nice clothes for the office. On one occasion I was looking to add some blazers to my closet and ended up with an armful of options, almost too many to choose from. Yes, the prices are certainly higher than they would be at a regular second hand store -- but I'm willing to pay a little more for the convenience of an organized floor and items pre-vetted for their quality, especially considering I'm still saving so much compared to original retail prices. Then again, I try to stay away from simpler pieces - like cute, basic Old Navy shirts that I just can't justify $12 for because that's not the same as spending $12 for a JCrew skirt. Pay attention to the tag colors! Many of them correspond to a percentage off discount. Also definitely sign up for their texts ASAP because you'll get a 10% off coupon.I don't have experience trying to sell here yet, though I plan to. No need for an appointment, new consigners are welcome to drop off during the week. And bear in mind that they only take seasonal items -- winter/fall season runs August to January and spring/summer starts mid-Feb (right now). Your item gets 30 days to sell, and if it does, you get 50% of the sale! They also take jewelry, perfume, and some home goods.I will definitely keep The Toggery a part of my shopping routine. If you're trying to live more sustainably, definitely check this place out! A good transitional step might be to stop here before you go to the mall...to see if you can't check anything off your wishlist.

It has been a long time since I shopped at this store but I stopped in the other day. My mom and I were out shopping and stopped here as she was looking for a dress for an event we were going to.The selection of clothes was pretty extensive and they had all of the sizes it appeared. These are all consignment clothes. It appears the longer they have them in the store the lower the price gets. They also had shoes and boots and a few hats and scarves. With it being a consignment shop I imagine the selection changes quite often. We will stop again when we are back in this neighborhood.

This is a great spot to find brand-name clothing for a fraction of the price. It's especially great if you need some more business professional clothing (aka clothing you don't wear all the time) and therefore don't want to buy at full price. The store is big and divided by categories. It's entirely women's clothes: skirts, dresses, pants, shorts, shirts, jewelry, shoes, bags, etc. They're also divided by size and the store is very organized. I didn't purchase anything this time around, but brought in brand-name clothes to trade in. When you do this, you need to have tough skin because over half of what you bring in will probably be denied. They have to match what they keep based on store seasonality and what has sold well in the past. They also do not accept any swimsuits. All in all, they kept a few of my items and I now will receive 40% of what it sells for which is pretty cool. They give you an online sign in so you can check and find out when your clothes have been sold, then either get a check in the mail or go to the store to pick up your cash. Very cool and I love that my clothes can be reused by people who love them too.
