The Silo

Visited the Silo when we traveled back home. It was fantastic. I had smothered chicken and it was awesome. The service was great and it is such a cute place.

Service good, no issues.Portions are very large so if you are just moderately hungry the baked potato and pork tenderloin sandwich could each easily be cut in half. Prices were very good. Would be back and likely split a meal.For the pork tenderloin sandwich it's about the size of a man's hand, was well prepared but as a sandwich the taste was boring. No sauce, dip, mayo, spice or anything. I asked for buffalo and mayo which was good addition (and they kindly provided on request) but I think if they had an option to make it like a "hot chicken" or just dress with buffalo sauce, gravy or even cheese that would make it the bomb. Could even serve it without bread as a tenderloin alone which would have been good.

We sat at the bar and got the TRex, billed as their most popular food truck fav. Yep, I can see why. It was awesome. And huge. And awesome. I would go back for more, but they are far from my home and any route I'm likely to be on again. If you find yourself in Marshall, do yourself a favor and have a meal here. Oh, and check out the World's Largest Gavel in town, too! It's not necessarily clear if they seat you or if you just find a spot - my companion and I walked in and waited at the stand in front for a few minutes before just wandering around to the back bar. If we hadn't done that, I'm not sure if we'd still be standing there. But the locals must know what to do, because the place was packed for lunch on a random Tuesday. Not the most comfortable/fancy space, but sounds like they used to be a food truck, so probably still upgrading. I hope they are super successful and that the interiors grow to match the quality of the food.

We were in town to see family and wanted a steakhouse. Literally drove an hour to come here based on the feedback from everyone around us and it was worth the drive. Their special was bone in ribeye cooked perfectly. No steak sauce needed. Sides we had their homemade apple slaw and their loaded baked potato salad. Service was great. They were attentive, quick and extremely nice.

The food is alway amazing. Great service also! Our group all enjoy it too. We get to visit share some adult beverages and good food. We know the waitresses pretty good now to they take good care of us always. And have been accommodated by the cook as well for special request.

I thought this was a good small time restaurant. If you are looking for a good place to go in Marshall, this is a good choice. There is a small bar area with tvs and a cute tiki bar setup. There is also an additional dinning room attached to the building. We got the Nachyo mamas nachos and they were large. We got the small and definitely could've fed 5 people for a snack. We also got a margarita flight. We thought that was a little pricey for what it was. It was $20. There are a ton of margarita flavors though. For a meal, I got the pulled pork sandwhich and smoked Mac and cheese. I wish the pulled pork sandwhich was much more juicy. It was pretty dry pork. The bbq sauce was good on it. The smoked Mac and cheese was good. The best part is it had real bacon. Yum!!

Food was awesome we had the ribeye and pulled pork worth the long drive. Service was excellent and so friendly, definitely made me feel welcomed.

We could not have had a better experience! From the upbeat attitude of the hostess to the incredible service from our server, Susan, to the fantastic food. 10 out of 10! Steaks were cooked perfectly. Beer super cold. Margaritas were a good as you'll find anywhere. We live an hour away and will be back soon!

Reservation on New Year's Eve. They were very busy. The staff was still very friendly. There was miscommunication on a meal, but the staff went way above and beyond to make sure we had a great night! Our server was fantastic. We will definitely be back.

Great food and service for a very good price. Highly recommended. Have had the burgers and baked potato. Tried the kettle chips as well. Can't go wrong here. Margarita flights are excellent!
