The Secret Ingredient is a hidden gem they I am so thankful I found! Gorgeous clothes you won't find anywhere else with a decent price point. It's not TJMax prices, but not Sachs either. The jewelry is fantastic, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Be sure to check out this lovely boutique!

Okay, so caveat: I'm 30, and I think their target customer is a generation or two older. Most of the clothing is the sort worn by artsy/funky (or rich/overdramatic) ladies in their 50s on up. Nothing wrong with that! Give me a few decades and I'll probably be wearing it too. I did see a few pieces I liked for myself; the price tag was a little more than I'd usually pay, but not exorbitant at all. The jewelry is where it's at. So many fun, colorful pieces! And many cute accessories and gifts all over the store too. The staff is friendly and it's a nice atmosphere. I'll definitely buy gifts there and possibly treat myself too.

I love this little boutique! Friendly, helpful customer service. Unique styles with flare and style. The bi-annual sells are my favorite times to visit because the prices just keep dropping every week. Not your everyday chain store!

I was visiting from out of town several weeks ago and stopped into this lovely store. The sales people are very friendly and helpful, and the store is filled with gorgeous, unusual clothes that you don't typically see in department stores, which I love! I bought a rather expensive blouse, took it home (I live on the west coast), and several weeks later I finally took of the tags and put on the blouse, only to discover a flaw in the fabric. I was very worried since it is a small boutique, but I called and they said to send it back and they would absolutely refund my money! They did not make me feel bad about it or question me in any way. THAT is good customer service. Since I am not around to shop often, or tell all my friends (since I don't live there), I'm spreading the word this way. They deserve some recognition for being a top notch place to find that "secret ingredient" outfit!And when I come back to visit, you can bet I will make time to shop there again.

I live in DC and shop here whenever I visit relatives in IN. The clothes are high quality and stylish but affordable. And they also have great seasonal sales I sometimes stumble on. I don't like to miss a shopping trip here when I'm back in IN. It's actually my favorite clothing store anywhere.
