Great service, delicious food and an inviting atmosphere. There have been many new additions to the nightly entertainment agenda, which have contributed to generously to having the necessary qualities of a local favorite.

Right when we stepped foot into this hip joint, Chris S. Was super welcoming and made us feel right at home. I'm gluten free and he went out of his way to get me grilled gator instead of fried and they made me gator nachos which were amazingly delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant if you want great food with the most authenticity and genuinely fantastic service.

I will preface this review by saying this review got such a high rating from the wonderful waitress, Isabella. She is a shining light in this restaurant and went above and beyond in showing excellent customer service, kindness and grace in addressing the issues that were experienced in my dining (or lack of dining, to be exact), and she is worth more than what she is getting paid for. This restaurant is a terrible attempt to rebrand an existing restaurant, but fails spectacularly in their attempts to create Cajun cuisine. From the start, I was looking forward to some etouffee, as it was recommended by Isabella but my hopes were dashed when they were out of etouffee at 13:00 on a Friday afternoon. This led to ordering the jambalaya, so I could enjoy some nice andouille sausage. The jambalaya had one half-slice and two quarter-slices of sausage in the entire bowl of poorly julienned vegetables and sauce that was more watered down than an outside dog in a thunderstorm. When I asked for more sausage, Isabella was extremely kind and had the chef provide more in a side bowl to be added. The problem was that after trying the dish with the added sausage, the dish was terrible. No flavor, watery sauce, undercooked and overcooked vegetables, undercooked rice and all for a price that should be at least edible.I asked Isabella to just take it back and explain to the chef that this is unacceptable, which she explained that she was the only one working the restaurant at this time and the cook in the back is brand new, in training. I had asked for a beer and was informed that they had no one old enough to actually serve alcohol at the time I was there. We were offered free dessert to cover the terrible jambalaya but we were told shortly after ordering the cheesecake, that there is no cheesecake. This entire fiasco, Isabella was talking to the GM (who is conveniently hiding somewhere) and got the approval to comp the entire bill and give free beignets, which were actually delicious and perfectly done. I am disgusted that the GM didn't take ownership and come out to apologize themselves and instead subjected a 19-year old girl to delivering bad news after bad news to patrons, when it is the leader's job to address these issues directly. I won't be coming back to this restaurant again but Isabella is a server that I would love to order from again. Her kindness and professionalism in a difficult situation is the kind of attitude that I would look for in an employee and she is too good for this shoddy restaurant. She is the type of person in the service industry that you don't get often but they are what make people come back to a restaurant, just to experience the service and friendliness that people want to experience in a dining establishment.

Tried this for the first time recently and enjoyed what I had. I got the classic burger, and though it was twice as thick as it needed to be, it was still pretty good. The beef was of good quality. The fries were also really good. My wife had a different experience, as she got the buffalo chicken sandwich and said it "tasted like nothing." She said that even the buffalo sauce itself was incredibly bland, which should never happen on that kind of sandwich. The staff was nice, and the decor was pretty unique. It's like a tamer version of the old Cajun Shack that used to be in Bedford. Ultimately, I'd go back and try more of their actual Cajun items to see how those are.

Nicely renovated restaurant. The food was fantastic. My husband said the mash potatoes rivaled a high end restaurant we love, the ribeye was good and I thought my chicken sandwich was tender and juicy as it should be. When we went they were short staffed and apologized for the longer than average time it takes for food. I'd say they're just still working out the kinks from being new. We will definitely go back.

Ambience was fine. Server was friendly. I ordered the andouille sausage, chicken étouffée. I lived in Louisiana for a few years and I've never had an étouffée anything like that. Never did find the chicken that was supposed to be in it. The sausage was cut up in little bitty pieces and wasn't much of it either. Too much tomato in it. Way overpriced for what it consisted of. I couldn't eat it. I was very disappointed. But we did enjoy the Cajun egg-rolls.

I'm feeling ripped off. The Portions are extremely small for what you pay for. I ordered a gator taco for 18 dollars. I got one taco and a side. Totaling it ..."$6.00" is for your included hush puppies and one side as they are listed for 3.00 each on the menu. So, really I paid 12 dollars for a "big taco" that was a standard sized soft shell about 6 inches, a little larger than the "street taco" Shells you get at Kroger. with a paper thin ring of cheese around it to make it appear bigger And ... not even a handful of meat and toppings. Bummer.

Went for the first time yesterday & will definitely go back. Super friendly staff, beautiful bar area, fantastic murals & very clean. We had tacos, not your ordinary tacos, they were great, plus you get hush puppies & 1 other side. Great beer selection too. They have a variety of choices on the menu, can't wait to go back & try other food items.
