The Roost is another brilliant Sahm's project. The epitome of Diner vibes.Popped in for Devour and the mushroom b&gs blew me away. The coffee was great ( they use Hubbard and Cravens) as well as the omelette. Some of the upholstery does seem worse for wear and the spotlights are kinda blinding but the service is wonderful, friendly, and warm.

Had brunch here on a Saturday morning in December - thought the wait would be long but it wasn't too bad! Have always been curious about the roost since we pass it often while biking on the monon (but typically go for big lug) so I was excited to check it out. Espresso martini and the seasonal goat cheese omelette were great and well portioned! Our server was super friendly and always came by to check on our coffees and if we needed refills.I would come back again, especially for brunch and if I'm biking on the monon!

We wanted to try something new for breakfast to give this a shot. The place is nice with lots of seating.Service was fine but had to flag down the waitress to bring us coffee after our food arrived. The coffee tasted like it had been reheated a number of times or had sat for hours. The food was typical diner fare but no flavor. The coffee cake was fine but not sure why people fuss about it.Filling but can get better tasting in town.

Great brunch spot that has something for everyone. A wonderful variety of coffee concoctions (lattes, espresso or just plain coffee). Have a sweet tooth, try the cinnamon roll French toast. Fan of eggs Benedict- they have lots of options. Just want scrambled eggs and toast that have that too with a side of outstanding service.

The kind of place that feels like a weekend morning--cozy, laid-back, and welcoming. The staff is friendly, the vibe is chill, and it's just a good spot to sit back, eat something, and enjoy the morning. The food is exactly what you'd expect from classic diner food if that's what you're looking for.

Good quality breakfast food. Pretty big menu with a lot of options. I was excited to see the coffee menu and it was hard to narrow down which latte I wanted to try! I ended up with the coffee cake latte simply for the fact it's served with a slice of their famous coffee cake! It was a bit on the sweet side, but our waiter informed me they could make it a little less sweet for me. I ordered the country skillet with sausage topped with jack cheese and over easy eggs. I will say it would be nice to maybe add hollandaise sauce or something as it was a tad dry. Overall though the potatoes were crispy and it was a big portion.

The Roost is a Sahm's restaurant up in Nora and right off the Monon as well as next to Big Lug. Great breakfasts & brunch and of course most if not all of your Sahm's favorites for Lunch. I had some Corned Beef Hash and the coffee is just great. Service is always friendly, efficient and enthusiastic without being overwhelming. Great place & I recommend.

I absolutely love The Roost--a Sahm's breakfast/lunch spot right next to Big Lug (huge fan of that too). It's a nice, quaint place with TVs and they also have a private room for events! My go to order is biscuits & gravy with two over easy eggs and a side of bacon. You can't go wrong! Their corned beef hash is also amazing, and the dry rub chicken tenders are highly recommended. Comes with fries and if you're a ranch fan...you'll be pleased. They don't take reservations, but it's definitely worth the wait (typically not long, or try getting a seat at the bar top). The Roost also has one of the best espresso martinis I've ever had--brown sugar was the secret ingredient. So good! If you're in the Nora area, check this place out! And if you happen to have Gracie as a bartender or server, tell her I said hi! :)

We waited for about 10 minutes which is excellent for Taylor Swift weekend because every restaurant in Indianapolis is booked. When we first came in they told us it would be like 30 minutes, but they moved really quick. Our servers name is Jessica. She's very polite and knowledgeable and knows the menu very well. Atmosphere is upbeat positive very colorful and fun.Highly suggested restaurant check it out if you're in Indy Nora area
