This is a very charming, warm, and inviting place to stay. It's clean and quiet. There's a small kitchen that provides snacks and a fridge to store leftovers when you dine out. Our cozy room (the Paris room) offered a private bathroom which we appreciated. The only downside would be the location - it's in a very small town with almost no amenities, so if you are looking for excitement, this is probably not your place. However, If you want a retreat And you just want to visit other places like Fishers or Indianapolis, this is it! Our host, Jayne, gave plenty of nearby options to explore, eat at, and have fun - all about a 30 min drive.. We plan to stay here again!

This is a lovely Place to stay in Elwood Indiana. There are three rooms available, all up one flight of stairs. The rooms are clean and well appointed. Two rooms share a bath and the third room has a private bath. All three rooms share a small kitchen which is stocked with continental breakfast fare. There is a large covered porch Where a family can gather and relax and visit. The only limit to this is the temperature outside. Jayne is very accommodating which makes your stay feel like you're staying with a friend.

My dad and I stayed at the Plum House. It was my elderly father's first time in a B and B type lodging. He was very comfortable in his room with a bathroom. My room was elegant and the small kitchen upstairs we had to ourselves and privacy was wonderful. Jayne was welcoming and is an experienced host. There is a working television in each room. She has tons of snacks and breakfast items for you to use. The soaps, and plush towels were stacked in each room. My room had a sink inside too. There is a small private parking area behind the house. It's a close drive to the main drag. There are movies and things to read and a wonderful porch to sit on. I am happy Elwood doesn't have any hotels, I'd prefer to stay there and my father was very impressed. We ate at the Tin Cup and Opera House, which are good restaurants.

The ONLY place to stay in Elwood. This is actually called the Plum House. It's purple. The folks who own it are a sweet older couple. The accommodations are lovely. The bathroom is shared but is kept clean and well stocked. There is a community kitchen for guest use.The one star off is for the fact that the TV wasn't working while I was there.

We enjoyed our stay at the Plum House. Thankfully, Jayne took our last minute reservation. We stayed in the Antique Rose room and it was lovely. The place was very clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast and snack choices were abundant. Next time we're in Elwood, we'll stay here for sure.

This is a beautiful BnB. All the rooms are supplied with all the essentials and some luxuries too. The wrap around porch is a delightful place to sit and watch the world go by. The host was very pleasant, we enjoyed talking with him. This was my 5th stay there and I am ready to go back. I would like to move the rose room to my house! This year because of COVID the breakfast supplies were very limited but in the past they have been plentiful and varied.Do not hesitate to stay here, just not on weekends I want it.

We just spent 5 nights at the Plum House and enjoyed our stay. Jayne is a gracious hostess. The rooms are very clean. The breakfast selection is nice and had fresh fruit every morning. It was nice to pour a glass of wine and sit on the beautiful front porch in the evening. I would highly recommend The Plum House for your stay in Elwood, Indiana!!

As this was our first ever stay at a bed and breakfast and weren't really sure what to expect. We had two of the three rooms and found that the venue it self was extremely well looked after inside and out. It was also a smoke free venue. Our host Steve, looked after us well with cold water, juices, and yogurts in the fridge. Coffee and a large variety of make-it-yourself breakfast items as well as fresh fruit were also available. The rooms were all themed, tastefully decorated, and very clean. Fans and lights were provided as well as bed side lamps for a bit of night time reading. The beds were not too firm and not too soft for us and we had a great nights sleep every night (we had three nights). If we were in the area again we would definitely stay here!
