Tried it out for lunch yesterday and was very pleased. Got the pulled pork sandwich and macaroni & cheese. The pulled pork had great flavor and the bbq sauce & pickles were good. The Mac n cheese could use a little something, a touch bland, but added some black pepper and made it better. Service was great, the cashier was very nice & helpful. The Garage places are a touch expensive because of the location but can't blame them for that. Will be back!

The Pig Pen BBQ is located inside The Garage Food Hall in the Bottleworks District. It's a solid if unremarkable mid-range effort featuring primarily pork/BBQ main dishes including the usuals BBQ, pulled chicken, pulled pork, brisket, and others. There are platters and sandwiches available. They also have a selection of sides. Surprisingly, they only carry canned drinks except for bottled water. The canned drinks are all Coke brand and there's no iced tea option. I ordered the pulled chicken sandwich, a side of potato wedges, and a can of diet coke. Sauce options included sweet/mild, sweet/spicy, and honey-mustard. I did like that they carry Magnolia organic ketchup packets. Service was good and friendly. They brought the food to my table since I was almost directly across from them. How was it? Again, pretty mid-range. It wasn't great. It certainly wasn't bad. I ordered the sweet/spicy sauce and didn't find it to be spicy at all. The chicken was pretty nicely seasoned and serving size was solid. The potato wedges had nice, crispy edges and great flavor. I'd say the potato wedges were my favorite part of the meal. For $4, I got about a half-dozen large potato wedges. Would I eat here again? Sure. It wasn't the best BBQ I've had, however, it was solid enough that I would order it again. However, I'd also likely not hesitate to try something else given this is a food hall. I'm also always a little disappointed when there's not an iced tea option. I'm sticking with a 3-star rating and truthfully 3.5 is probably more accurate. 4 stars just feels too high - so, I'll go with the 3 and acknowledge that I could easily see myself craving those potato wedges. I will note that most of the sandwiches come with stuff (for example, cole slaw) on the sandwich - however, you can easily request plain as I did.

Brisket was cold and hard. Mac tasted like Stouffers or Bob Evans that you get out of the grocery store case. Be better!

I am a brisket connoisseur although this and the pulled pork is quite tantalizing to the senses the staff needs a tuneup when I ask them to chop my brisket after receiving it in 3 x 3" cubes they said no.keep in mind this is only my second time going to this store the previous cook did chop it up it makes a huge difference when you chop it in the size of sugar cubes I find that the staff is in deep need of the owners acknowledging this sort of staff behavior it's a bit overpriced as well

In my latest stroll through The Garage I came across this new establishment. My immediate thought was wow BBQ is the perfect addition and so was naturally excited to try. BBQ sandwiches are a decent lunch deal, you're looking at around $18 out the door so that's pretty good for The Garage. The Porky's Revenge is a pulled pork sandwich, it's a healthy portion with just the right texture for the bun. The Hoosier Hot sauce had a nice kick but is tolerable for even the weariest of heat chasers. I only wish there was more sauce, the amount given was not enough. Mac and Cheese is pretty good, nice firm texture so easy to feed a small human. More of a flour based sauce type of taste, would prefer more cheese but for a BBQ side it is good. Glad to see a bbq option and can't wait to try some of the other sandwich options.

I was in the garage hall for a team lunch and was looking for a gluten free option. The BBQ joint was not busy, but I was happy to see the cashier had some knowledge of their GF offerings. The barbeque was just ok. A little dry and they stated the sauces weren't gluten free so I just added hot sauce. The cole slaw was decent, but I loved the potato wedges. They were crispy and salty. My favorite way to eat potatoes. Overall I wouldn't pick here again unless I had to. I hate to see anywhere fail, but I don't see this spot flourishing.

Good by very pricey BBQ. Amazing location at the bottle works. Very filling portion sizes, so it makes the price better.I got the two meat platter with pork and brisket. Mac and baked beans for the sides. Both sides were amazing. The pulled pork was good and the brisket was OK, too. I've had much better, but I've also had much worse. The service was pretty quick and the cashier and waiter were nice. This is in the bottle works so there's plenty of space and it is very nice and upscale. This is a nice edition to downtown and a great option in the Bottleworks. It's not the best BBQ but it gets the job done.

The food was ok. Chicken had a good flavor but was a little dry and the sides were just average. Beans and bbq sauces lean toward the mustardy side so if you like that flavor profile then it's for you! Overall not bad but I would try a different meal if I ordered again.

Sorry to say the worst BBQ I've ever had. Ate half the sausage, a few fork fulls of Cole slaw, and a few fork fulls of beans. "404 - Seasonings Not Found Error". Maybe they had an off day Service was prompt and courteous.

I had great service and good food at this bbq spot in the Garage Food Hall. I thought the brisket was great. My friend had cowboy beans and the Big Brain on Brad said both were very good.
