The Pavilion is a multi-use event space that I've seen mostly beer and food festivals and concerts at. You'd never know it was there as they unfortunately don't have many events going on there available to the public (or at least from what I'm aware of). The location is great for ride sharing and there are lots of mall parking garages around. I've been here for a mac and cheese fest, Indy VegFest, a OneRepublic concert, a beer festival, and a few other things. It's an a-okay event space but from the photos on here, they really know how to transform the space into something new each time. Given its size and shape, there are lots of options for transforming the space. The restrooms are your typical restrooms. They have a coat check usually, along with a fairly large bar too. They need to do more advertising so more people know about the space!

I'll be honest - I had no idea that The Pavilion existed until I started getting ads for the Fall Out Boy concert as part of the 2019 Big Ten Football Championships... which I then kinda thought were fake because I still think of Pan Am as being a place to ice skate because I guess I'm an old person now - move out of the way everyone who can't internally update Deer Creek to any new venue name! So I guess my first comment on the venue is that maybe they should consider doing something surrounding branding or advertising so people know it exists. But I took a chance because free Fall Out Boy and got in to the event! It was a frigid night and the line was long but the folks running line management were nice and once doors opened the line moved smoothly. They had multiple heaters set up along the way and the stanchions made sense and were easy to follow. Once inside everyone who'd been waiting line for at least an hour made a bee line to the bathroom - where we all again stood in a line but it too moved fast. It was odd as we had to cross the entire venue and it appeared as though there is just one bathroom for the place which wasn't quite big enough for a crowd that size. There were bars at the back and a VIP section I did not interact with. The show and acoustics were good for a place that's main aesthetic is empty warehouse. The lighting was actually really nice because there was nothing for it to interfere with. Fall Out Boy of course was awesome and now I can say I got to try out a new venue and see one of my all time favorite bands for free!

I came here on a visit to Indy to see Galantis. We arrived during one of the opening acts and got in line to go through security. When in line, we were ushered to go into a different line that was labeled for VIPs. This may have just been done to keep things flowing smoothly. Security was quick and efficient; thorough, but polite. We were wrist-banded in order to gain access to the bar area as well. First, we headed over to the coat-check and paid $3 each for them to hold our coats (great value!). We were also super impressed with the value at the bar. Lots of these venues seem to really jack up the prices at the bar, this didn't seem to be the case here.I think the biggest downside to the venue was the bathroom situation, which took one person in my crew nearly 30 minutes to get through the line (I would estimate there were 1-2k people at the concert). Make sure to go early or plan to hold it if you're here for a concert! The sound was great and we had a fun night! I'd definitely come back if there was a concert/show/event here that sparked my interest!

Great venue for concerts. Been here I think for 3 different concerts. My employer has also had a few company events here. Very big space to hold lots of people. Have an outdoor area that can have events overflow into a "courtyard" of sorts in warmer months. Most recently saw Fall Out Boy for free during BIG10. Clean facilities and bathrooms. Great bar selection in the back.

RCI had their employee party here this past weekend and the venue did not disappoint. They had different levels set up to accommodate photo booths, virtual reality sessions, food trucks, and bars all while acrobats were performing! They had several food options- haute dogs, French fries, Tacos, waffle pops, churros, and poke! The DJ was great and the sound system worked flawlessly - my only complaint was the floor... there were a few "soft" spots or seams in the floor that I found my heel getting caught in - other than that - it was excellent and I loved that they handed out mini sliders (like White Castle) upon exiting the building.

BEWARE OF TIP FRAUD AND POOR FOLLOW-UP FROM MANAGEMENT.Here's the story:I attended a conference in Indianapolis and several of the evening events were hosted at Indy Pavilion. I arrived on the second night and approached the bartender (short white woman with a long ponytail) around 10:50pm and ordered a drink. The bartender asked if I wanted a single or double, to which I asked the price difference. She stated the cost of the double would be $16, and I said perfect! When she made the drink, she stated, "I'm sorry - it's actually $20, but don't worry because I hooked you up." I was hesitant about the change in price, but signed with a zero tip since I had previously paid and gave her one in cash earlier that night - and plus, tips are always optional. I was not provided a second receipt to keep, and I did not ask for a copy since I was fully aware of the singular purchase made. I did not think it was odd to not receive a customer copy, but I was confident that I would remember the details of this purchase - won't happen again.Once I got to the hotel, I noticed a pending charge that said $24 and I was astonished because I had only signed for $20 and I would never give a $4 tip for a drink - the math doesn't even add up. Although it's a $4 difference, this speaks to the integrity of the waitress and may indicate an ongoing trend. I immediately contacted the establishment once the charge posted by phone three times and left voicemails; however, I have not received a follow-up call. In addition, I have sent two emails, and in the same case, I have not received a response. It is now approaching the third week without follow-up and the bartender's behavior is likely indicative of poor management (hiring, training, follow-up, disciplinary action). I have provided this feedback to the conference host so that they can locate another establishment to host events. Save yourself - either do not go or ensure you pay in cash; the bartenders are desperate for money by any means necessary and should not be trusted.

I will not be returning to any event here. I will advise everyone I know to avoid events here because what happened with your event security last night was absolutely unacceptable. In further detail, we drove from purdue to indianapolis and arrived at 7pm for Adventure Club concert. Upon arrival, everything was smooth as we were early so there weren't many people. I was with a group of 4 guys. Some guys got separated while on the floor. An event staff ran up shined light in the face of my friend who just puffed on his e-cig Juul. The security man apologized and said he was looking for the marijuana culprit. Fast forward, and my other friends join me literally right before the headliner comes on. The crowd is large and we're dancing in the middle. My new friend that just got there goes to puff his Soarin and gets rudely shoved by the same event security dude. My friend doesn't even say anything and gets shoved more and literally thrown out........Inconsistent enforcement of rules. Event security should have emphasized upon check-in that vaping is NOT allowed. Also, don't inconsistently enforce it. I went to go find my friend and then event staff was being rude to me telling me I NEEDED TO LEAVE just for looking around for my friend and trying to figure out what to do. It seems many people were fine and then all of a sudden they started throwing out people left and right? Everywhere else I've been, if people aren't allowed to vape inside, they get a warning?Put a sign out front or something and hire staff that isn't on a POWER TRIP. Also, there are bigger bugs to squash than ecigs, like the excessive DRUG Use and UNDERAGE DRINKING. Wanna see abuse of power? Don't need to heave downtown indy when you can just be meddled by Pan Am Event Staff.

Good venue with typical indoor/outdoor areas, restrooms, a stage, and an overpriced bar. Nice location, and easy to find nearby parking or walk there.

The Sixpence and The Wedding Studio were delighted to present Unveiled: a bridal fashion runway show experience, on September 14th, 2023. For this event, we had the opportunity of working with The Indy Pavillion's production team. We loved working closely with Jason and Dustin to bring our vision for this event to life. When tackling production for this event, we needed to figure out where to start, Jason and Dustin communicated, planned, and worked with us to create the best production plan for Unveiled. Renting production equipment and other event essentials through them was a seamless process; when it came time for our event, their team worked vigorously beside us the week and day of Unveiled. We honestly wouldn't have been able to create all that Unveiled was without Indy Pavillion's passion and team!

I enjoy the venue but the workers are terrible. The people who scanned my ticket were rude and tried to blame me for the ticket not scanning, when it really was the tool they were using. As well as one of the workers made me pay him 20 so my friend wouldn't get kicked out. He threatened to kick us out because one of my friends had a joint on them. They weren't even smoking it he just saw us move around our stuff and it fell out so we picked it up. I understand weed is illegal but so is black mailing.
