I took my granddaughters to eat at the Lin's yesterday and it cost over $36 for a 9 year old, a 12 year old and a 70 year old to eat. Last time I took the girls to eat there was before school was out so probably in May. It cost $27 and some change. Soups are bland and alot of the times the hot food is not hot. The ice cream looks as if it's been in that freezer for months. I do say the place was clean and there seemed to be someone observing the buffett area to keep it clean. Not sure I will be going back, especially if the price keeps going up. Do not believe it was worth $12 a person, especially for a child under 12.

Hardly any selection. Only kid friendly food is chicken nuggets and fries and it was so unappealing that my 3 yo didn't want to even try it. So we tried the donuts for him and they were hard that he complained that his teeth hurt from biting into it. Out of our party of 6 only 3 ate anything and they didn't eat much.

Just called to place an order and the owner answered me to hurry and asked "what you want?!" All because I was asking for prices and was hung up on wow you're service is treacherous. Food is always cold anyways when you walk in to dine. I'll take my business else where.

My lil wanted Chinese buffet on our road trip and since we were staying in town for a few days I asked the front desk staff which was better of the two buffets offered. She told us this place. Ok so maybe it's where we live that I expect Chinese food to be served hot with flavor and not seeing Empty pans on the buffet line or lettuce sitting in an inch of water. But this is what was served here. $10 for buffet includes a drink. Ok not so bad. They offer two different rice which were hot and in rice cookers. They offered all three soups and all three were ice cold, bland and downright disgusting. Next was your Chinese dishes. I do have to say the egg foo young was fresh and excellent by the egg gravy just skip all together. Lo mein was ok but noodles were dry and old. Rice noodles stuck in my throat so I just skipped rice and noodles all together. The fried items were all cold. Onion rings, cold shrimp cold, egg rolls cold, spring rolls cold and so on. They had great spicy chicken and shrimp Chinese. It had large chunks of red pepper flakes and emerged in lots of sauce. It was the best dish on the line. Next was the almond chicken. But it was always empty so I just got a little bit. The honey chicken was decent. the beef and broccoli was inedible, large chunks of something called beef was stringy, tough and parts not chewable. The orange chicken was equally terrible. Cold chunks of breaded chicken with a measly tang of orange to the cold sauce. The sweet and sour sauce for the ice cold limp wontons was very bland and cold. For dessert they did have sesame balls which were cold, sugar donuts which the pan was always empty and jello and pudding. The jello was the best dessert on the line. I think there was also ice cream but I'm lactose intolerant so I don't pay attention to that dairy delicacy. The waitress cleaning our plates off was the only one for the small inside seating area but she was busy. She asked why I didn't eat the soup and I was honest and told her they were cold tasteless and not worth wasting my time on. This place was busy which I don't understand but if it's better than the other one I feel bad for logansport to have to continue to eat crappy food. I felt as if the owners were laughing all the way to the bank with their money while they continued to serve lackluster Chinese Americanized food. I mean come one how hard is it to make things hot and tasteful? I would not eat here again. I would rather do without than suffer they another meal at Lin's. I gave it two stars for the spicy chicken dish, the remodeled job hey did when they took the building over and the clean bathrooms.

A clean place to eat. The selection for the buffet is meager. Other Chinese buffets I've been to had 3 times the selection Lin has. What there is to choose from was tasty. A few items were not as hot as they should be. This is the first restaurant that I have ever had to pay ahead for the meal. I've been to many buffet places and have eaten in restaurants in many countries. Maybe this place has gotten stiffed a few too many times or perhaps it's a common practice in this part of the country.

As far as Asian buffets go, The Lin's is rather small. Not many choices, and the selection is pretty much the same every time I've been. For such a small amount of options, they are a bit pricey. BUT! They make up for it with beautiful decor, a clean environment, and quality food. The host/hostess greets everyone through the door with a smile, and even any cooks I have interacted with were kind and friendly. There are even kid friendly options, like chicken nuggets/fries/hotdogs if you kiddos dont quite have a taste for asian cuisine yet. If you like what you like and the lack of variety doesn't bother you, The Lin's is a great place to eat for your lazy Sundays, or to bring a friend/family member to have a good meal and a good time. (as a side note, there is a lot more variety if you are looking to order online! Prices are still a little high, though)

This is one of my favorites. Clean restrooms, great food, great variety of food and great staff. The only problem is the price. Pretty expensive.

I made an online order and when it was picked up I was missing items, and most of what I did received was wrong. The total was 38.32 when my order was placed, but charged over $60 when it was picked up 20 minutes later. I placed the order and my husband picked it up. He said they seemed confused. The man behind my husband was also there for an online order. He was immediately told "not here you don't" If they are not able to handle online orders they should not offer it.
