The Hungry Heathen

Hungry Heathen has one of the best breaded tenderloins around. It was so tender with a nice medium thickness and the breading had just a few spices and not overly breaded . The Heathen Bowl is good size with some very delicious bbq pulled pork with creamy macaroni and cheese. It does have onions in it. Our server was very polite and attentive. We will definitely be back and recommend to others.

This new restaurant in Wabash may have decent food, but the problem is the same with every restaurant popping up in that...they charge way too much money for what they provide. We saw that the restaurant had opened and went downtown to check it out. The interior is okay but as soon as we looked at the menu, we put down a dollar and walked out. The prices are heinous. It was Saturday and prime rib day. For an 8oz portion, baked potato and one side it was $20! A BLT was $15. Their Mac and Cheese was $14. And most of their burgers were $15. There was nothing on the menu that we couldn't make at home for much less. The service people were friendly but it's early days. Sadly, for us, it is another downtown restaurant asking way too much money for their food. It is a disturbing trend in Wabash.

The food was mediocre. They forgot to put half the toppings on my blt somehow they burned water while we were there and it set off smoke alarm and stunk up the whole place from the scorched pan. They brought out everyone's food at the table except one person and they didn't get it until we were all done eating and they had to take it to go.

The food was good and plenty of it as far as cost you get what you pay for if you want it to be cheap go to the dollar menu at some fast food joint
