I always imagined a great grocery store would be like this. The food is amazing, the prices are good, and the team is so friendly. They genuinely want you to have what you want and need.They have fantastic lunch specials and meal options. It's well worth your time to check out their great food: regular groceries, staples, unique items, pre-prepped meals, and surprising take-home choices, from pizza to burritos, and more.Give them a try, and you won't be disappointed!

Carmel has a new fancy grocery store! The Fresh Market is a step up from that other big grocery store down the street. (You know the one.) The Fresh Market is new, it's shiny, it has six different kinds of kombucha and 12 different kinds of vegan yogurt and 18 different kinds of nuts in the bulk bin aisle. Ahhhhh! Things are as they should be.I visited The Fresh Market on opening day, and I was very impressed. They have lots of hot, prepared items that you can eat at the tables located in the market, or take to go. Things like burritos, salads, paninis and more. There were also many grab-and-go items, like freshly made pizzas, empanadas and rice bowls. The bakery area was looking good and I had to leave quickly before I grabbed one of the berry parfaits or slices of cake I saw chillin' in the refrigerated case.There's a wine and beer section, thankfully. I wouldn't come here to find an obscure wine, but this place will do in a pinch if you need a good bottle to bring to a party or bring to your face to enjoy yourself.We only picked up some sweet treats this time (Hi-Chew, chocolate-covered almonds and boba tea in a bottle), but we will definitely be back many times to visit this awesome grocery store.

Today 5/24/23 is the grand opening of this 160th chain grocery store. It is located in the former Earth Fare. It has been so long since I entered this store that I was wowed by how much The Fresh Market offers. Walking in to see flowers was a site!The grand opening event was not too exciting. They passed out a few samples like cherry, cheese, and crackers with tuna. I enjoyed them but I was really surprised with the sample salads that I chose to try among their options at the case - 1) a spicy rice noodle ___ and 2) walnut with _____ salad.My only concern is that as someone who does not necessarily want more than one of a kind non-perishable food, I feel it would be more economical if I could buy one for the special price of BOGOF. So, I apparently found a higher upper person who said that more than likely just one item would ring up with the same deal as BOGO. So after assistance, the cashier and I realized that is the case. Only one item was specially price adjusted. I just wish the sale signs would indicate that instead of waiting and questioning it at the register.I bought Dewey's Meyer Lemon cookies (2 for $4.99 - BOGOF), their in-store made zucchini nut bread (BOGOF for $5.99), the grand opening sale of $8.99/# porterhouse steak, and aromatic mushroom jerky.

LOVE The Fresh Market. I used to live behind the SoBro location and made almost daily trips but now that I've moved to the Northside, I miss the vibe of such a peaceful, gentle place to get groceries so I recently made a special trip to this location for the first time. Their dinner deals are LEGIT-great Sunday chicken meals and Little Big Meals and packaged meals to toss together. Also a great stop for party platters and special occasion food. I almost always get a bottle of wine from the chilled section. Great flowers and even some gifts towards the front if you need to grab a quick hostess gift on the way to something. Good sales, good customer service and a very beautiful space. Even the olive bar is beautiful. Will need to prioritize a return trip soon because I love it here.

I normally like to shop here for special items. This is where the beautiful people of Carmel shop for food. Although I live in Carmel across the street from there, I always feel under dressed, but I digress. Tonight I was looking for nice big juicy scallops, however, the only ones available were frozen and small. So I went with Salmon and decided on a lark to get some prepared crab cakes. They were nice sized and priced at $5.99 a piece. I heated them in my toaster oven and was expecting something special. The only thing special was I didn't go blind searching for the crabmeat. Huge disappointment. I should have just bought canned crabmeat and made my own. Don't waste your money.At least the salmon was good.

I love Fresh Market, their fruits and veggies tend to be fresher than other stores plus their baked goods are really good. This location is a little closer than the 146th street location, wish they'd make one in Fishers. The store seems bigger than the other location and it's much nicer. High ceilings and a more open, airy feel. If you haven't tried their loaf breads (blueberry, vanilla, etc) you should. You can always count on yummy baked goods here.

This is a great market! I really enjoy trying new things and cooking and the variety here is incredible! There are so many things to try and some ingredients I have had a hard time finding in other grocery stores. I also tried their prepared breakfast sandwich and it was delicious! There was not much staff around, but those who were around were very helpful. I would come back!

OMG! My favorite store just made the best store right by me. Full of the freshest produce! Full of the best meat and seafood. A place to grab dinner and eat there. This is a huge hit for the area.
