The Escape Room USA - Westfield

This was such a fun experience! We did the KGB room with a group of 10 people. Our guide was Mason and he did an excellent job with the hints that he gave us. He was so nice! The room was challenging and we made it out with about 45 seconds to spare! I would definitely go back to this location. So fun!!!!

After enjoying an escape room two days ago in Gatlinburg and having a blast, my family booked the fairy adventure in Westfield for the day we got back. During the introduction, my daughter asked if we could have flashlights. We were told not only could we not use flashlights we could not use our phones as lights. the first task involved colored birds some where in cages suspended from the ceiling. we new the task right away, however you could not see the colors because it was so dark in the room. we waisted a half hour guessing the colors. this set the tone for the game of frustration in the dark. it was so dark in the game you could not read any of the clues. they finally "let" us use our lights.we would have left if we did not have three excited little girls as participants. at one point there was a staircase missing all but one step. it was so dark, my wife walked head first into the stair and concussed herself. The whole experience felt cruel, like people watching you stumble through the dark, trying to ready clues and identify colors. It was particularly hurtful as we specifically were told not to use flashlights before the adventure began, which really seemed to have no bearing on the game. This was a spectacularly negative experience.
