The Caffeinated Cook

I've been excited to try out caffeinated cook since they opened ! They did not disappoint. We had a fresh out of the oven lemon blueberry scone. The sweetness in it was absolutely perfect. It was like eating a cake in scone form ! Definitely recommend. They were out of biscuits and gravy when we came in, but we got there pretty late. So we opted for breakfast sandwiches. Served hot and delicious ! They don't have espresso, but they do have fun flavors for their coffee. I got a medium drip with coconut and it is yum. Can't wait to go back, preferably earlier in the day !

When the people are lined up outside at 9am on a Saturday morning, you know it's good stuff!Nice place, clean, friendly staff, easy menu on the wall, variety of baked items, coffees and teas... this is a sweet little spot in Ellettsville. A friend told me the biscuits and gravy were incredible, but to arrive early - they only serve them on Fridays and Saturdays. While enjoying breakfast I heard the last biscuit had been ordered...I like my B&G a little more runny (personal preference), but these are quality, homemade and delicious. Free WiFi too!

Great service, I am always greeted with a sincere smile. Gluten options a plus. Delicious scones and sausage egg sandwiches. The coffee is delicious and the atmosphere is very inviting.

I have wanted to try this restaurant out for some time. The owner who calls herself the caffeinated cook took over what was originally a coffee shop and opened on valentine's day this year. Her hours are from 7 am until 2 pm. The owner runs the shop with a couple other workers. it is conveniently located next to a municipal parking lot in Ellettsville. you can take out or eat in. she concetrates on coffee, fresh baked goods, sandwiches. and an asian cashew chicken salad. On the weekends she offers sausage gravy and freshly made biscuits. My spouse and i tried out the salad. it was excellent. i ate the banana choclate chip muffin. the muffin was moist and you could taste the banana and the chocolate chips. She offers wifi for her customers and will even email you your receipt.This is another excellent addition to Ellettsville.

The workers here are extremely nice and the atmosphere feels like and old dinner vibe with a like and the scones are the best in the world. Edit: Thanks for the reply and I come here with my sister and dad often and so I'll be there probably soon when I get back home

Highly recommend checking out the caffeinated cook! I went for the first time when it was the owners birthday and they had 50 cent coffees. I got the last order of biscuits and gravy for the day and got my partner the chicken salad sandwich. Both were amazing! We also grabbed 2 scones. I'm not normally a huge fan of regular hot coffee but was very surprised at the quality of the medium roast. We added flavor shots to both of our coffees and they were very good. The serving size of the biscuits and gravy was perfect. 1 biscuit but it was fluffy and big so it was just the right amount. The place is cute with about 6-8 tables but we took our items to go. We will be back!

The best scones I have ever had. Top notch coffee and friendly staff. Worth my drive from Bloomington.

This is a wounderful family owned business I loveI They didn't have the equipment to make me a Irish creamlatte. But the lady made me a not so Irish cream latte and it was the best. I have ever had better than Starbucks or any restaurant I've ever been to. Now. It is my go to coffee store and my coffee. The not so Irish cream latte. The lemon blueberry scones are to die for.

The scones are amazing. The owners are friendly and sweet. All the baked goods are on point. The coffee is a bit pricey for what you get, but it's really all about the scones...which are mostly just fluffy biscuits with yummy flavors and not the traditional English hard scone I was familiar with.
