The Burger Joint

No idea why this place has 3 stars. It's a solid burger place, outdoor seating, great sized burgers, lots of variety. We got 4'burgers and two mixed drinks total before tip was $62. Cornhole and patio seating in back. Super nice bartender server. Thanks we will be back while we're working in Indy.

So excited to have another great bar AND restaurant in Bates-Hendricks! It has the same charm and feel of 1718, but offers great food and drink options. The burgers were delicious and reasonably priced. The draft beers aren't ready yet, but there are still plenty of bottle options- and mixed drinks- until then. Crystal was friendly and great to talk to, and food and drinks were ready quickly!

Great place! It's new and the people working there Crystal and Chloe did an amazing job! The burger was really good and the drinks are top notch! I loved the drinks Crystal made us. Highly recommend this place check it out!

Came with friends today, we walked in no direction of we were going to be seated or we seat ourselves. I believe the new owner and two workers were outside just hanging out not really checking in Till the lady behind the bar told us to sit any where. For our drinks and then wait 20mins for anyone to come and ask us for food. A different waitress came and asked if we'd been helped. All 4 of us got something different. One chicken sandwich. I got the garlic parm wings and the other two got different versions of the San F burger. I want to let everyone know I got food posing from the wings. I got the 9 didn't even finish them. I tried to give them a shot. The wings were very reheated wings. You know when you microwave chicken that's the taste. But the 4th one I have to stop because my stomach started to hurt. I kid you not a hour later here I am giving up my soul in the bathroom. My friend said the chicken sandwich was bland And the burgers were 5/10.I don't know the vibe was strange and my stomach is paying the consequences

This place is not very dog friendly. We just arrived because we were very excited to try this place out after waiting for serveral months. Unfortunately, the manager was very defensive and rude upon our arrival with our pet. She said they are a liability but it is kid friendly. I repeat, No DOGs are allowed, which is understandable but there was no need to be rude. Hopefully management will see this review and be a little less defensive and rude to the next customer. Very bad first impression for us and very disappoint with their attitude.Hopefully you all have better experiences.

Service was technically self service. Walked in with a group of friends and not one worker was near to be found. We had to ask a kitchen employee if we were to be self seated or waited to be seated. I kid you NOT we had a different serve for each item that was ordered as in for drinks, food, refills, and the Tab!!! Crazyyy right!? Looked like some employees were out side playing board games and not checking up on us. Wait was too long for someone to take our order. I hate to write this as I am very much a supporter to all small businesses but this was not the most inadequate service ever.
