Great place to watch a football game...can you say Sports Bar! Tons of TV's, great menu plus adjacent Pizza King you can order from too. Beer wall (pour your own) is 25% off on Sunday, but it was very glitchy and most of the taps not working yesterday. Sorry no pics, but pizza was good, and server Nika was funny. We'll be back.

Enjoyed an evening of drinks, appetizers, and pizza with the boys.Haven't been to this place since it used to be Moe & Johnny's. Interior decor is updated, but the layout is pretty much the same with the large central bar. Appetizers were fine, pizza from the Pizza King kitchen was on par for Pizza King (mediocre). They had one bartender working the whole bar which was kind of insane. She hardly had time to say two words to any customer before having to move on. Not a big sports guy so the constant outbursts from other patrons based on what was happening on the TVs was annoying. Better bars in the area with better food, but wouldn't say no if someone wanted to meet here.

Not stellar at the BullDog tonight. We sat for 13 min before we were acknowledged by anyone. Another two min we were leaving. Ordered bread sticks with nacho cheese and marinara. Got nacho cheese only and the sticks were almost burnt on the bottom.Ordered a pizza with extra sauce and extra pepperoni. Ended up with a pizza with almost no sauce. Lots of big bubbles in the crust and looked like the basic amount of pepperoni. We won't be heading back to the BullDog anytime soon for dinner. Also the sports ball on tv was turned up way too loud. Person sitting across from me could barely hear me talk to them. Kitchen staff seemed to be working hard. Rest of the staff in not sure what they were doing

The bulldog is a fun place for drinks and appies! We love the drink wall, where you get to pour your own drink. The only downside is it's very pricey for mediocre food. The food is nothing special, but is very expensive. Our favorite time to come here is during a big game, and the staff is always on top of it. It's a really fun environment!

It was a decent bar. Nice set up. The bathroom was clean. I was there for a dinner party. The waitress was on it. It didn't take long for the food to come out. I ordered a fried green tomatoes sandwich. It was hot and fresh but they put cheese on my sandwich by mistake. It was remade without an issue.

This was the first time trying The Bulldog since it was Moe & Johnny's. What a disappointment! $18.50 for a burger that was basically a thin, flavorless, frozen patty from a box? The apps that came out at nearby tables looked awful, like they also came out of a box in a freezer. We also waited forever to place our order, get our food and get our check. The only positive is the made to order Pizza King pizza - made at a completely different establishment next door. There are Sports Bars in Indy that are 100x better with fresh food. The neighboring Twenty Tap has way higher quality food that is cheape. I will never be back.

As a Butler Grad, I frequently went to Moe and Johnny's at 54th and College. I was sad to see it closed. So I was excited to try The Bulldog Bar & Lounge that opened in its location. We've been here a couple times now and have found some favorites. We like the Bacon Cheesy sliders for $13. They are on Hawaiian rolls and are served with your choice of fries or salad. We recommend the fries ... my wife is picky about the quality of their salad lettuce. They also have two other types of sliders: Black and Blue for $14 and Shrimp and Crab for $15.50. We've only ever tried the Bacon Cheesy ... why mess with something we like?! You get 4 sliders which is perfect for splitting. I've also had the Tenderloin Sandwich for $16. It's ok but not great. To help you gauge my preference and taste of tenderloin sandwiches, I think Dooley O'Toole's has one of the best in town. This is not Dooley's but it is ok. We've also had the Tex Mex Burger and it was good. We would get it again. It's $19.50 and comes with fries. It has bacon, onion strings, Swiss cheese ( I substituted for Pepper Jack without an issue), Chipolte aioli, guacamole, and tomato. They serve Pizza King pizza. We've ordered the Meat Lovers. The crust is crunchy ... which we really like. It was thin and could have been a tad thinner (our opinion) but not by much. It has a ton of toppings which is very good. It could use a bit more sauce ... it's very dry. As a pizza lover, I know how personal taste varies so much on this item. So feel free to order and see what you think ... thinnish crunchy crust, lots of toppings, not much sauce. You will either like or dislike based on pizza preference. The atmosphere is fun. We like sitting at a table top in the bar area. They've tons of TVs and play the sound of important games. Service is good and friendly. The place was crowded and they did not appear to have many servers. As a result, service was slow. Bill has been accurate. We will come back. Gave it a 3 Star which, staying on the college bar theme, I classify as the grade of a B.

I was underwhelmed by the Bulldog. Nothing was wrong, but it just missed the mark for me. Their staff earned them their 4 star. Their menu and food was underwhelming. the location was convenient to where we were staying otherwise I would look elsewhere.

We went on a Wednesday night it was not busy. Server came by right away and was very friendly. He had a coupon for 1/2 off appetizer so we got the wings, buffalo. Also got a build your own burger. Burger was well cooked and good came out fast. Fries were tasty. Wings were good.Feel of the place was nice and cozy in the dining side. Next time we might try to beer wall.

We had an AWESOME experience at The Bulldog for lunch. The food is delicious, the owner is fantastic, and the atmosphere is great for a work-day lunch or a meet up with friends. We tried the fried green tomatoes (free of charge thanks to the generosity of the owner!!!) and they were fantastic! Along with so many great other options like the Pizza King pizza lunch special and spinach dip! I highly recommend stopping by if you're traveling down College Ave! I know I'll be returning!
